  • Lendeborg (foot) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Minnesota. The rookie standout is in danger of missing his first game of the season Wednesday with foot soreness. With the Warriors already short on forward options, Georges Niang could be thrust into a starting role if Lendeborg cannot play.

  • Lendeborg totaled 31 points (9-19 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 12-13 FT), 12 rebounds, six assists and one block in 31 minutes during Monday's 134-114 win over the Nuggets. Lendeborg put together the best final line of his young NBA career, propelling Golden State to a comfortable victory. The rookie forward has shown promise as a scorer, especially over his last two games, racking up 57 total points over this short stretch. Coach Steve Kerr noted after the game that he was particularly impressed with Lendeborg's performance in the win. "Basically, in all the critical moments of the game, we put the ball in his hands. And for a rookie to be that advanced already, it's extremely rare," said Kerr, per Luca Evans of the San Francisco Chronicle.

  • Lendeborg accumulated 18 points (4-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 9-12 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists and three steals in 37 minutes during Friday's 111-108 loss to the Grizzlies. After a more subdued NBA debut on Wednesday, Lendeborg flashed his full array of skills in his second game. The 11th overall pick in the 2026 Draft tied Brandin Podziemski for second on the team in scoring while pacing the Warriors in boards and tying for the lead in assists and steals, all while getting to the free-throw line with regularity. Lendeborg will have his ups and downs as a rookie, but Golden State seems committed to giving him plenty of court time to speed his development.

  • Lendeborg contributed 12 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists and a steal across 29 minutes in Wednesday's 127-105 loss to the Lakers. Lendeborg's 29 minutes were an encouraging sign for the role he's expected to have in the Warriors rotation in the early weeks of the campaign. However, his modest peripheral production and inefficient free-throw shooting limited his fantasy impact. With the Warriors missing several established contributors, mainly Jimmy Butler (knee) and Moses Moody (knee), as well as Brandin Podziemski (back) and Kristaps Porzingis (illness), Lendeborg should get consistent playing time in the coming weeks, but his production needs to increase to be a valuable option in most fantasy formats.

  • Head coach Steve Kerr confirmed Monday that Lendeborg will start Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Lakers, per Nick Friedell of The Athletic. This was the expectation throughout the preseason, given the rookie forward started most of Golden State's exhibition contests. Lendeborg is expected to hold down the fort at small forward at least until Jimmy Butler finishes his ACL rehab at some point later this year.
