"Honestly, my first two days, it seemed like everything was moving so fast because you're going against NBA talent and everybody's athletic, and the gaps close really fast. But now, it's way more chill. [Friday] was a really good day for me," Wilson said. After Wilson was selected by the Bulls with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, the rookie forward is expected to be thrust into a big role immediately and is being treated as a mid-round player in most fantasy drafts.

Wilson (rest) is out for Friday's Las Vegas Summer League finale versus the Cavaliers, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports. Wilson will sit out the Summer League finale for rest, but he's not dealing with any sort of injury. He played well in Las Vegas, averaging 23.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 3.3 triples, 1.3 steals and 2.5 swats per contest on 50/42/33 shooting splits.

Wilson erupted for 35 points in the 97-96 loss to Memphis to begin his time in the Las Vegas Summer League. He hasn't been as productive since, though he has shown signs of promise. Wilson has an opportunity to contribute immediately with Chicago during the 2026-27 campaign. However, his ceiling won't be as high if he continues to commit turnovers while failing to improve his three-point shooting.

Wilson had another fantastic Summer League performance, amassing 19 points for a second straight contest. While the 2026 No. 4 overall pick has committed a combined 13 turnovers in his three Las Vegas Summer League appearances, he has made up for it by totaling seven steals and nine blocks during that span. It's unclear how much more action Wilson will see during the Bulls' remaining time in Las Vegas, though it wouldn't be surprising if he were shut down, considering he's already expected to hold a prominent role in the rotation during the 2026-27 campaign.

Wilson produced 19 points (8-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 0-6 FT), eight rebounds, five blocks, two assists and two steals across 29 minutes in Monday's 80-63 Summer League loss to the Jazz. Wilson scored just seven points on 3-of-11 shooting through the first three quarters, though he was dominant on both ends of the floor in the fourth and finished as Chicago's leading scorer. He also knocked down three triples and was efficient from downtown Monday after shooting 7-for-11 from deep in his Summer League debut. The rookie No. 4 overall pick also turned in another impressive game on the defensive end, and he's racked up eight blocks and four steals through two Las Vegas Summer League games.
