Tatum finished with 40 points (10-20 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 18-22 FT), five rebounds, eight assists and one block across 42 minutes in Tuesday's 125-124 overtime win over Brooklyn. Tatum had a productive showing Tuesday, finishing with a game-high in scoring while draining a shot in overtime as time expired to lead the Celtics to another win. The 28-year-old scored 13 points in the 121-113 loss to the Pistons to begin the 2026-27 campaign. Since then, he has been on a roll, averaging 33.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.3 steals over 35.6 minutes per contest during that span.

Tatum tallied 23 points (7-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and one steal across 28 minutes in Monday's 134-99 win over Chicago. Tatum turned in another productive showing after stuffing the stat sheet in Friday's win over the Knicks. The star forward finished as Boston's second-leading scorer, reaching the 20-point threshold for a second straight game. He also tied for the team high in rebounds and paced all players in assists, dishing out at least six assists for the third time in as many regular-season appearances thus far.

Tatum tallied 36 points (14-26 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 5-5 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists and three steals across 37 minutes in Friday's 107-103 win over the Knicks. After shooting just 6-for-23 from the field and scoring 13 points in Tuesday's season-opening loss to Detroit, Tatum bounced back in a major way Friday. The star forward wasn't shy about hunting his shot and finished with a game-high 36 points, 25 of which came in the second half. The 28-year-old also led the Celtics in rebounds, assists and steals in a well-rounded effort.

Tatum closed with 13 points (6-23 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds and 11 assists across 38 minutes during Tuesday's 121-113 loss to the Pistons. Tatum simply couldn't get anything going from the floor, en route to just 13 points, including 0-of-7 from the perimeter. If we're being honest, this could be one of his worst shooting performances of the season, a reassuring fact for fantasy managers. With that said, Tatum certainly had his fingerprints all over the game, handing out a game-high 11 assists. It appeared as though his playmaking was by design, an interesting wrinkle, should it be an ongoing theme.

Tatum (rest) is expected to play in Tuesday's opener against the Pistons. Tatum didn't play in the 125-120 preseason overtime win over the 76ers on Friday. However, since he sat out that contest to rest, he is in line to play Tuesday in Detroit. The six-time All-Star appeared in 16 regular-season games in 2025-26 after working his way back from an Achilles injury, averaging 21.8 points, 10.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.4 steals across 32.6 minutes per contest. With Jaylen Brown now in Philadelphia, Tatum is the undisputed top offensive option for the Celtics, and assuming he stays healthy, he should be considered an MVP candidate entering the 2026-27 campaign.
