McLain (calf) served as the designated hitter and went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored for Triple-A Louisville on Saturday.
This was McLain's second rehab game with the Bats, after he started at shortstop and played six innings Friday. He can be activated at any point and could rejoin the Reds prior to the start of a three-game set against the Guardians on Monday.
