McCutchen was placed on the 10-day injured list with left knee inflammation Monday, retroactive to Aug. 1, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

McCutchen was slated to miss a second straight game Monday, but he'll land on the IL after he underwent an MRI on Sunday. The Phillies haven't said whether the outfielder will require more than 10 days on the shelf, but Brad Miller and Luke Williams could see increased playing time in his absence.
