McCutchen went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk during Tuesday's 6-0 win over Washington.
The veteran outfielder came to the plate during the sixth inning with a pair of runners on base, and he launched a 410-foot shot to left to double the Phillies' 3-0 lead. McCutchen is 22-for-65 (.338 average) with five homers, three doubles, 18 RBI and three stolen bases in his last 15 games.
