Meyer (2-2) took the loss Tuesday against Cincinnati, allowing six runs on eight hits and three walks over four innings. He struck out two.

It was a tough night for Meyer, who allowed runs in both the second and third innings before the Reds put up a four spot in the fourth. After allowing just four earned runs in his first three starts (17 innings) in April, Meyer has struggled to a 9.00 ERA in three outings since rejoining the Marlins rotation in late July. Overall, the 25-year-old southpaw sports a 5.10 ERA with a 1.30 WHIP and 26:9 K:BB across 30 innings in the majors this season. Meyer will look to get on track in his next start, currently lined up for this weekend at home versus the Padres.
