Rams' Emmanuel Forbes: Career resurgence with LA
Forbes had 45 tackles (32 solo) and 18 passes defensed, including three interceptions, over 17 regular-season games with the Rams in 2025.
Forbes ended the 2024 season as a healthy scratch for the Rams after being waived by the Commanders in early December. After an offseason of work with his new team, the cornerback has grown into a player who better reflects the first-round draft capital used to acquire him. The 25-year-old was a consistent contributor throughout the 2025 season and will likely compete for a starting outside cornerback job. Forbes has one year left on his rookie deal, and even though the Rams picked him up off waivers, they cannot exercise the fifth-year option typically associated with first-round picks because they are not the team that drafted him.

Rams' Emmanuel Forbes: Ready for action
Forbes (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Seahawks, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Forbes was able to upgrade to a full participant in Friday's practice after being limited for consecutive sessions earlier in the week. The 25-year-old is all set to suit up alongside Cobie Durant and Darious Williams at outside cornerback as the Rams head into a third matchup with the Seahawks.

Rams' Emmanuel Forbes: Limited in practice
Forbes (shoulder) was a limited participant in the Rams' practice Wednesday.
Forbes managed to practice Wednesday despite having suffered a shoulder injury during last week's divisional-round win versus Chicago. As his injury isn't considered to be serious, the 25-year-old should be good to go for Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Seahawks.

Rams' Emmanuel Forbes: Questionable to return Sunday
Forbes (shoulder) is questionable to return to Sunday's divisional-round matchup with the Bears, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Forbes likely suffered his shoulder injury when he was run over by Bears running back Kyle Monangai in the first quarter, and his status for the rest of the contest is now up in the air. In his absence, Roger McCreary and Josh Wallace are both candidates to see an increase in workload at cornerback versus Chicago.

Rams' Emmanuel Forbes: Shoulder issue seemingly not severe
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Monday that he doesn't expect Forbes' shoulder injury to impact his availability for Sunday's NFC Championship Game against Seattle, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Forbes hurt his shoulder early in Sunday's divisional-round win over the Bears and ended up logging just four defensive snaps, though he was never officially ruled out from returning. McVay's comment Monday suggests that Forbes' issue isn't serious, so he's trending toward being available against the Seahawks. Still, Forbes' level of participation in practice this week should help determine whether he'll get an injury designation heading into the weekend.
