Bills' Dorian Strong: Sheds neck brace
Strong was spotted at Buffalo's OTAs on Tuesday without a neck brace, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
It appears Strong is still nursing his neck injury, as he wasn't participating in Tuesday's voluntary OTAs. However, the fact that he's no longer wearing a neck brace is an encouraging sign for his recovery ahead of the 2026 season. The 2025 sixth-round pick from Virginia Tech appeared in four regular-season games during his rookie campaign, recording 10 total tackles across 133 total snaps (87 on defense, 46 on special teams).

Bills' Dorian Strong: No timeline on return
Head coach Sean McDermott was unable to provide a timeline on Strong's (neck) return Monday, Matt Parrino of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports.
Strong hasn't played since suffering a neck injury Week 4 against the Saints and will seemingly remain sidelined for an extended period of time. The rookie sixth-round pick recorded 10 tackles (nine solo) across four games before getting injured.

Bills' Dorian Strong: Placed on IR
The Bills placed Strong (neck) on injured reserve Saturday.
The sixth-round rookie cornerback has appeared in all four games to this point in the season, logging 39 percent of the Bills' defensive snaps and 40 percent of the snaps on special teams. Ja'Marcus Ingram, Cam Lewis, Brandon Codrington and Jordan Hancock will be in line for more snaps with Strong on the shelf.

Bills' Dorian Strong: Not playing vs. New England
Strong has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Patriots due to a neck injury.
Strong was unable to participate in the last two practices of the week due to a neck injury, and the rookie sixth-rounder will miss his first game of the season as a result. Ja'Marcus Ingram and Cam Lewis are in line to see more rotational work at corner behind Tre'Davious White and Christian Benford due to Strong's absence. Strong will aim to return to practice next week and be available for the Bills' Week 6 road clash against the Falcons on Monday, Oct. 13.

Bills' Dorian Strong: Headed to Buffalo
The Bills selected Strong as the first pick of the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 177th overall.
Strong finished out his five-year career at Virginia Tech with 53 games played, racking up 112 tackles and seven interceptions. He doesn't jump off the page as an elite athlete but has decent size at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds. Strong excels at play recognition and is solid supporting in the run game, making him an ideal fit for Buffalo's zone defense. He'll likely kick off his career in a depth role and may be asked to contribute on special teams. The Bills have put a heavy emphasis on bulking up the secondary thus far in the draft, making Strong their third pick at cornerback after Maxwell Hairston (first round) and Jordan Hancock (fifth round).
