Jets' Braiden McGregor: Placed on injured reserve
McGregor (pectoral) was placed on the Jets' injured reserve list Wednesday, Eric Allen of the team's official site reports.
McGregor will miss the rest of the 2026 season due to a pectoral injury he sustained during the Jets' Week 4 loss to the Bears. His move to IR opens up a spot on the 53-man roster, which the Jets filled with Nate Lynn, who signed with the team's practice squad following the conclusion of training camp in late August.

Jets' Braiden McGregor: Suffers season-ending pectoral injury
McGregor (pectoral) suffered a season-ending injury during Sunday's loss to the Bears, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
McGregor will soon be moved to IR, where he will remain for the remainder of the 2026 season. The defensive end played in all four games to start the season, logging seven tackles (two solo) over 42 defensive snaps and 46 special-teams snaps.
