Dominic Richardson: Waived/injured by Jets
The Jets waived/injured Richardson (undisclosed) on Sunday, Eric Allen and Amanda Vogt of the team's official site report.
Richardson signed with the Jets last Sunday after being waived by the Titans on Aug. 19. The running back played in Friday's preseason finale against the Giants, rushing five times for 13 yards. Richardson likely picked up his injury in the contest, and if he clears waivers he will revert to the team's injury reserve list for the entirety of the 2026 regular season. The 25-year-old will need to reach an injury settlement with the Titans to be able to play for another team.

Jets' Dominic Richardson: Signs with New York
The Jets signed Richardson to a contract Sunday.
Richardson was waived by the Titans last Wednesday and went unclaimed. The running back likely caught on with the Jets due to the injuries to Breece Hall (groin) and Isaiah Davis (knee). Richardson is likely just a preseason depth signing and will not have much sticking power with the team past August.

Dominic Richardson: Let go by Tennessee
The Titans waived Richardson on Wednesday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Richardson was signed by the Titans on Sunday, making his tenure with the organization very short. The running back was waived to make room for D'Ernest Johnson on the roster, whom the Titans signed in a corresponding move. Dominic Richardson: Cut loose by Dallas
The Cowboys waived Richardson on Friday.
The move corresponds with the Cowboys signing running back Jashaun Corbin. Richardson signed with the Cowboys in early May as an undrafted free agent after his name was not called during the 2026 NFL Draft. Assuming he clears waivers, Richardson will look to catch on with a team in need of backfield depth.
