Ravens' Kyle Hamilton: On practice field Wednesday
Hamilton (groin) is participating in Wednesday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Hamilton entered Week 5 as a limited participant at practice but then missed back-to-back sessions before being ruled out for Baltimore's loss to Houston. It's encouraging to now see him back on the field in at least a limited capacity. If the standout safety is able to gain clearance in time to play Sunday at home against the Rams, his presence will provide a significant boost for the Ravens' struggling defense.

Hamilton (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Texans.
After being limited Wednesday, Hamilton didn't practice Thursday and Friday and was deemed questionable for the contest. With Hamilton unavailable Sunday, the depth of Baltimore's banged-up defense is further taxed in Week 5. In his absence, Sanoussi Kane is slated to draw the start at strong safety.

Ravens' Kyle Hamilton: Questionable to face Houston
Hamilton (groin) did not practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans.
The Ravens' defense will be depleted for Sunday's game with Chidobe Awuzie (hamstring), Marlon Humphrey (calf) and Roquan Smith (hamstring) all ruled out. Even with the questionable tag, Hamilton is leaning more towards the doubtful side of things given that he wasn't able to practice Thursday and Friday, though his official status may not be known until about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. Reuben Lowery and Sanoussi Kane have seen limited playing time on defense this season, but both would be candidates to start at safety alongside Malaki Starks if Hamilton is unable to play.

Hamilton (groin) did not practice Thursday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
It's another concern for the injury-riddled Baltimore defense after Hamilton was limited Wednesday. Considering he played 100 percent of the defensive snaps Sunday against the Chiefs, it's fair to wonder if Hamilton was injured in Wednesday's practice. If Hamilton is unable to play in Week 5 against the Texans, Sanoussi Kane or Reuben Lowery would be next up at safety alongside rookie Malaki Starks.

Hamilton (groin) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
It's the first time Hamilton has been on the injury report this season, and it's yet another injury for the Baltimore defense. Hamilton played 100 percent of the Ravens' defensive snaps in last Sunday's loss to the Chiefs and has logged 31 tackles (17 solo) and two pass breakups across four games this season.

Hamilton logged eight tackles (three solo) during the Ravens' 37-20 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.
Hamilton led the Ravens in tackles for a second consecutive week and played every single defensive snap for the first time this season. The Ravens are dealing with several injuries on defense, including to corners Marlon Humphrey (calf) and Nate Wiggins (elbow), so Hamilton will have to take an even more prominent role in Baltimore's Week 5 tilt against Houston on Sunday.
