Rams' Puka Nacua: Still sidelined at practice
Nacua was a non-participant at Thursday's joint practice with the Saints, Stu Jackson and Zach Edwards of the Rams' official site report.
Nacua has been a spectator at practice since departing last Tuesday's joint session with the Cowboys early, eventually getting diagnosed with soreness in his psoas. On Monday, coach Sean McVay said Nacua may not return to practice until next week, which now will be his next chance to mix back into drills. The Rams likely will continue to take it easy with Nacua to ensure he's healthy for a Week 1 matchup with the 49ers in Melbourne, Australia on Thursday, Sept. 10.

Rams' Puka Nacua: Could remain sidelined all week
Coach Sean McVay said Nacua (groin) may not practice this week, Greg Beacham of the Associated Press reports.
Nacua has been dealing with a minor groin injury since last Tuesday, which as of Thursday was clarified to be soreness in his psoas. He didn't make the trip to Kansas City for this past Saturday's preseason game, and if he doesn't mix into drills at all this week, either, he seemingly would be trending toward another absence this Saturday versus the Saints. In the end, though, having Nacua 100 percent for Week 1 against the 49ers in Melbourne, Australia on Thursday, Sept. 10 is the key, so the Rams taking a cautious approach with him comes as no surprise

Rams' Puka Nacua: Not participating in Monday's practice
Nacua (groin) isn't taking part in Monday's practice, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Nacua made an early exit from practice last Tuesday due to minor groin soreness, which was clarified as discomfort in his psoas as of Thursday. At the time, coach Sean McVay told Greg Beacham of the Associated Press that Nacua was expected to return to practice "next week," but that won't be the case Monday. The Rams likely will continue to exercise caution with Nacua with the team's regular-season opener more than three weeks in the future.

Rams' Puka Nacua: Expected to be "ready to go" next week
Head coach Sean McVay expects Nacua (groin), who is dealing with soreness in his psoas, to be "ready to go" in practice ahead of the team's second preseason game against the Saints on Aug. 22, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
The psoas is a muscle that runs from the lower back through the pelvis and to the top of the femur. Nacua left Tuesday's joint practice with the Cowboys due to soreness in that area. He's on track to sit out Saturday's preseason opener against the Chiefs before likely returning to practice ahead of the team's second preseason game versus the Saints. The standout wideout can thus be considered day-to-day for now.

Rams' Puka Nacua: Expected to practice next week
Head coach Sean McVay said Thursday that Nacua (groin) is expected to practice prior to the Rams' second preseason game against the Saints, Greg Beacham of The Associated Press reports.
Nacua injured his groin during Tuesday's session and worked on a side field with trainers Thursday. McVay indicated the star wide receiver is simply dealing with soreness in his groin, adding that Nacua should return to practice next week, following the Rams' preseason opener against the Chiefs on Saturday.

Rams' Puka Nacua: Working on side at Thursday's session
Nacua (groin) is working on a side field with trainers at practice Thursday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Barshop initially didn't spot Nacua (who is dealing with what has been described as minor groin soreness) among the Rams' practice participants, but the star wide receiver was soon seen working out on a practice field alongside Myles Garrett (knee). It's encouraging that Nacua is on the field in any capacity at this point, though it will likely be at least a few days until he's cleared to practice with his teammates, per earlier reports. Nacua is unlikely to play in Saturday's preseason opener at Kansas City.

Rams' Puka Nacua: Not spotted at practice Thursday
Nacua (groin) doesn't appear to be participating in Thursday's practice, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Nacua's absence isn't unexpected, as initial reports after he left Tuesday's practice due to a groin injury suggested that the star wide receiver could be sidelined "a few days." He looks unlikely at this point to suit up in Saturday's preseason opener against the Chiefs, but there has been no indication that Nacua's availability for Week 1 against the 49ers on Thursday, Sept. 10 is in question.

Rams' Puka Nacua: May be sidelined 'a few days'
Nacua, who left Tuesday's practice with a groin injury, could be sidelined for "a few days," Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports.
Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Nacua's issue was initially described as minor groin soreness, and Schefter's report supports the notion that the star wideout's injury isn't a long-term concern. With that in mind, it seems likely that the Rams will play it safe and Nacua won't suit up for Saturday's preseason opener against the Chiefs.

Rams' Puka Nacua: Dealing with minor groin soreness
Nacua exited Tuesday's practice with minor groin soreness, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The Rams are being cautious with their star receiver after he left the field with the training staff during Tuesday's joint practice with the Cowboys. It sounds like Nacua has avoided anything serious, and there's been no indication his availability for Week 1 of the regular season is in jeopardy.

Rams' Puka Nacua: Leaves practice early with injury
Coach Sean McVay said Nacua left Tuesday's joint practice with the Cowboys early and that he doesn't have an update on the wide receiver's status, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Nacua exited with the Rams' training staff, indicating that he's dealing with some sort of health concern. The team doesn't seem to be treating the issue as a serious one, but it could still keep Nacua out of the lineup for Saturday's preseason game against Kansas City.
