Dulin was unable to suit up for the Colts' 33-30 overtime loss to the Chiefs on Sunday due to an ankle injury. The wide receiver and kick returner was listed as week-to-week with the issue, meaning if Dulin cannot upgrade to at least limited practice participation by Friday, there is a strong chance the 29-year-old will miss the Week 3 game against the Texans as well.

Dulin likely suffered his ankle injury in the Colts' 41-23 loss to the Ravens on Sunday. The wide receiver is the team's starting kick returner and second punt returner as well as the No. 4 option on offense. If Dulin must miss time due to injury, the Colts will have many holes in the roster to fill. The franchise will likely elevate someone from the practice squad to help manage the load on special teams in the event Dulin is ruled out of next Sunday's contest against the Chiefs.

Dulin may play more on special teams after the Colts signed Keenan Allen this summer, Nathan Brown of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Dulin has impressed at OTAs and mandatory minicamp and is making a push for the No. 3 wide receiver role behind Alec Pierce (ankle) and Josh Downs, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Dulin said his approach has been "attacking [the offseason] as if it's my first year, knowing that, that [No. 3] spot is open." After the Colts traded Michael Pittman to Pittsburgh, Stephen Holder of ESPN concurs Dulin has taken an early lead for the No. 3 role over Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Laquon Treadwell and rookie seventh-round pick Deion Burks and was a standout at minicamp. Offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter said Dulin has been moving around the offensive formation at practice and "can be really good for us this year on offense." The 29-year-old totaled a 5-106-0 line across 12 regular-season appearances in 2025 and has topped 200 receiving yards just once in his career.

Dulin could not secure either of his two targets during Sunday's 38-30 season-finale loss to Houston.
Dulin suited up for 12 regular-season appearances with the Colts in 2025, during which span he secured five of 10 targets for 106 receiving yards and logged three carries for 44 rushing yards. He also compiled a career-high 516 yards as a kick returner. He has one more year on his contract with Indianapolis, though the team has a potential "out" this offseason for only $670,000 in dead cap.

Dulin (hamstring) has had his injury designation removed for Sunday's game against Jacksonville.
Dulin was initially listed as questionable to play Sunday, but after being activated from IR on Saturday he's now had that designation removed entirely. Dulin (hamstring) has been activated from injured reserve Saturday and remains questionable for Sunday's contest against the Jaguars.
Dulin is now eligible to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup against Jacksonville, though his status may not be made official until roughly 90 minutes prior to the contest's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. Colts' Ashton Dulin: Set to return to practice
The Colts designated Dulin (hamstring) for return from IR on Wednesday, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.
Dulin landed on injured reserve Nov. 25 due to a hamstring injury. He's since missed the required four games and, with his designation to return, is eligible to be activated at any time. Indianapolis has 21 days to decide whether to activate Dulin, but he could play as soon as this Sunday against the Dolphins. Prior to getting hurt, he had a minor role in the passing game and was also serving as one of the team's top kick returners.

On the Colts' opening possession, Dulin ran backward on a short pass to dodge defenders, but his efforts proved unsuccessful as the Colts were forced to settle for a field goal when the drive stalled out.
