  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Showing maturity entering Year 2

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Tuesday at mandatory minicamp that TeSlaa has "impressed" the coaching staff this offseason and already "feels like a veteran," Tim Twentyman of the team's official site reports.

Campbell noted that he wished Detroit had gotten TeSlaa more touches as a rookie and said the receiver "became a guy [...] we had a lot of trust in" down the stretch. The 2025 third-round pick appeared in all 17 regular-season games, recording 16 catches for 239 yards and six touchdowns. While TeSlaa faces stiff competition for targets alongside Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Jahmyr Gibbs and Sam LaPorta (back), the "consistency" that Campbell praised could help him earn a larger role in 2026.

  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Knack for end zone in rookie year

TeSlaa caught 16 of 27 targets for 239 yards and six touchdowns over 17 contests during the regular season.

TeSlaa wasn't used often in his rookie campaign, but when he was, he was finding the end zone at an impressive clip. The wide receiver finished third on the team at his position in receiving touchdowns behind Amon-Ra St. Brown (11) and Jameson Williams (seven), with four of his scores coming in Detroit's final six games of the year. TeSlaa's 6-foot-4 frame and impressive contested-catch ability make him a valuable red-zone asset, and he'll look to carve out an every-down role for himself in his second season with the Lions.

  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Another trip to end zone in loss

TeSlaa caught three of four targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 23-10 loss to the Vikings.

TeSlaa was able to reach pay dirt for the second straight game and fourth time in five contests, securing a four-yard score in the second quarter. The wide receiver now has reeled in 15 of 26 targets for 221 yards and six touchdowns over 16 contests in his rookie campaign. TeSlaa appears to be a significant red-zone threat at the professional level, and he'll be a guy to keep an eye on in 2026.

  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Productive in loss to Pittsburgh

TeSlaa caught four of seven targets for 52 yards and one touchdown in the Lions' 29-24 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.

TeSlaa entered Week 16 having seen 15 targets all season, so seven easily marked a new single-game high for the rookie wideout. His seven targets were fourth on the team on a day Jared Goff dropped back to pass 57 times with the Lions in comeback mode much of the afternoon. TeSlaa now has a touchdown in three of the last four games but will be difficult to get behind as a fantasy starter on Christmas Day against the Vikings.

  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Blanked in Week 15

TeSlaa failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 41-34 loss to the Rams.

TeSlaa maintained his edge as the team's No. 3 wide receiver in Week 15, playing 39 offensive snaps to Kalif Raymond's 11, but the rookie went without a catch for the third time in five games. The wideout found the end zone in each of the last two games entering Sunday, both of which were with Raymond sidelined by an ankle injury, but TeSlaa's streak was snapped against Los Angeles. TeSlaa has shown great potential in Detroit's offense during his rookie campaign, but he's been limited to eight catches on 15 targets while scoring four touchdowns over 14 contests.
