Draft Scouting Report
DJ Campbell is a physically gifted, experienced right guard who was a mainstay on the Texas offensive line for three seasons. While he has a shorter frame, his arm length and power allow him to control defenders effectively. A former five-star recruit, he fits best in power schemes where he can use his heavy hands and pulling ability to dominate at the point of attack.
- 2025: 18 pressures allowed on 484 pass-blocking snaps
- Career: Three-year starter at RG (Texas)
- Exceptional 34-inch arm length to control and win hand-fighting battles.
- Powerful, low base to drive defenders off the line.
- Smooth mover when pulling on counters and gap schemes.
- Pad level can rise too high when moving laterally in zone.
- Occasional balance issues when leaning forward before contact.
- Needs improved awareness identifying second-level defenders in space.
- 40-yard dash: 5.01 seconds
- Vertical jump: 26.5 inches
- Broad jump: 8 feet, 8 inches

Dolphins' DJ Campbell: Headed to Miami
The Dolphins selected Campbell in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 200th overall.
A three-year starter at Texas, Campbell heads to the NFL with plenty of experience under his belt, making 43 starts over four seasons in Austin. Campbell has the longer arms ideal for the position to keep defenders at bay, but he's not the best mover in space pulling and can struggle in run blocking. For now, he'll slot in as a depth option for the Dolphins and take aim at claiming a 53-man roster spot.
