Alexander (undisclosed) was waived with a non-football injury designation Monday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Alexander had been sidelined to begin training camp after signing with the Seahawks in May as an undrafted free agent out of LSU. The exact nature of his injury remains undisclosed.

Alexander (undisclosed) was placed on the active/non-football injury list by the Seahawks on Tuesday, Corbin K. Smith of SI.com reports.
Alexander will be forced to open training camp on the sidelines while he deals with an undisclosed injury. The cornerback will be eligible to return to practice and play at any point during the preseason.
