Dolphins' Jason Marshall: Picks off Mayfield in Week 17 win
Marshall logged eight tackles (four solo) and two pass defenses (one interception) during the Dolphins' 20-17 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
The rookie fifth-rounder recorded season highs with eight tackles and 57 defensive snaps Sunday, and he logged the first interception of his NFL career after jumping in front of a deep pass from Baker Mayfield that was intended for Jalen McMillan late in the second quarter. Marshall has stepped into a more prominent role in the Dolphins' secondary as of late, coinciding with the absences of Storm Duck (knee - IR) and JuJu Brents (foot - IR). Marshall will look to finish his first NFL season strong this Sunday against the Patriots.

Marshall (hamstring) is active for Thursday's game against the Ravens.
Marshall was activated from injured reserve ahead of Thursday's game, and the rookie fifth-rounder has been officially cleared to return after going through pregame warmups. Marshall gives the Dolphins another body on special teams and depth in the secondary, and he could see some snaps on defense in his return due to the absences of JuJu Brents (coach's decision) and Storm Duck (IR, knee).

Dolphins' Jason Marshall: Practice window opens
Marshall (hamstring) was designated to return from the injured reserve list Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
The rookie corner from Florida has missed Miami's last four games after sustaining a hamstring injury in the Week 3 loss to the Bills, but it now appears he's nearing a return. Marshall played 88 total snaps (62 on defense, 16 on offense) over his first three NFL games, recording three total tackles. He now has 21 days to be added to Miami's active roster and will likely play a depth role in the secondary once fully healthy.

Dolphins' Jason Marshall: Placed on injured reserve
The Dolphins placed Marshall (hamstring) on injured reserve Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Marshall was already ruled out for Monday's game against the Jets due to a hamstring injury that he suffered during the Dolphins' Week 3 loss to the Bills. He'll now be required to miss at least the next four games, which makes Week 8 against the Falcons on Sunday, Oct. 26 the earliest he is eligible to return. Cornell Armstrong is a candidate to see an uptick in snaps at corner due to Marshall's absence.

Dolphins' Jason Marshall: Out for Week 4
Marshall (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Monday night's matchup against the Jets.
Marshall was unable to practice all week after sustaining a hamstring injury in the Dolphins' Week 3 loss to the Bills, so it's no surprise that he'll be unavailable Monday night. The 2025 fifth-round pick from Florida has tallied three total tackles over 62 defensive snaps this season. While he's sidelined in Week 4, expect Cornell Armstrong to see increased reps in Miami's secondary.
