The Falcons brought in Pride for a tryout Monday, Howard Balzer of SI.com reports.
Pride was one of three cornerbacks to try out for the Falcons on Monday after he was waived due to a failed physical with the Panthers in May. The 2020 fourth-round pick registered 42 tackles and two passes defended over 14 games during his rookie season with Carolina before suffering a season-ending ACL tear last preseason.

Pride was selected in the fourth round of the 2020 draft by Carolina, but he missed all of last season after suffering a torn ACL in a preseason contest. He'll now focus on getting healthy so he can earn a chance to compete in the NFL again.

Pride suffered a torn ACL and was carted off the field in Sunday's preseason opener, which will keep him sidelined for the remainder of the 2021 season. Last season, the 23-year-old cornerback recorded 42 tackles and two passes defensed across 14 games in his rookie campaign. When Pride got injured late in this contest, he was on the turf for some time before attempting to walk off the field. When he reached the sideline, he appeared to faint, eventually came to and was carted to the locker room. Considering the Panthers deemed him doubtful to return, Pride could be in line for an extended absence. Upcoming evaluations will determine his prognosis.
