Terrell Lewis: Works out with Texans
Lewis (personal) had a tryout in Houston on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Lewis was inactive for the Bears' final game against the Vikings last season due to personal reasons. His tryout with the Texans indicates he has put whatever issue he was dealing with behind him. The 25-year-old has accumulated 40 tackles (27 solo), one interception, one forced fumble and one sack across 30 games through is first three seasons.

Chicago signed Lewis to its practice squad Tuesday.
Less than a week after being waived by the Rams, Lewis has already found another opportunity, this time to make an impression on Bears' coaches. With Chicago's defensive line rotation relatively healthy, though, the 24-year-old edge rusher might have to wait for an injury to be elevated to the active roster.

Terrell Lewis: Dropped by Rams
Lewis (back) was waived by the Rams on Thursday.
Lewis played a consistent rotational role on defense over the first 11 weeks of the season, recording 13 tackles, one sack and two passes defended, including one interception, during this span. However, the third-year linebacker has been sidelined since he sustained a back injury Week 12 against Kansas City. Lewis (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Cameron DaSilva of Rams Wire reports.
Lewis played only 13 snaps in Week 12 after suffering a back injury. He didn't practice all week and is now set to miss his first game of the season. In 11 games on the campaign, he has tallied 13 total tackles, one sack and one interception.
