Levi Wallace: Hangs up cleats
Wallace announced his retirement from the NFL on Friday, NFL.com reports.
Wallace played seven seasons in the NFL. The 31-year-old cornerback appeared in 96 regular-season games split between the Bills, Steelers and Broncos. He last played in 2024 with the Broncos and was in camp with the Jaguars in 2025 prior to being waived from injured reserve with an undisclosed injury. Wallace posted totals of 333 tackles (256 solo) and 56 passes defensed, including 12 interceptions, across 96 career regular-season games.

Levi Wallace: Tryout with Indianapolis
Wallace (undisclosed) had a tryout with the Colts on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Wallace was cut after reaching an injury settlement with the Jaguars in mid-August. The cornerback was dealing with an undisclosed injury, which he now appears to have fully recovered from. Wallace appeared in 13 regular-season games with Denver last year, recording 28 total tackles (20 solo) and two passes defensed.

The Jaguars waived Wallace (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Wallace was set to miss the entire 2025 season after reverting to the Jaguars' injured reserve, but the injury settlement allows the Alabama product to sign with a team once he's fully healthy. He appeared in 13 regular-season games (two starts) for the Broncos in 2024 and posted 28 tackles (20 solo) and two pass defenses before being released by Denver in late December.

Broncos' Levi Wallace: Struggles in starting role
Wallace posted eight tackles (five solo) and a defensed pass in a 41-32 Week 13 win over the Browns on Monday.
Wallace started in place of Riley Moss (knee) and logged 86 percent of Denver's defensive snaps. While his tackle total tied for first on the Broncos, Wallace was frequently burned by Cleveland's Jerry Jeudy, who finished the game with a whopping 13 catches for 235 yards and a score. Wallace figures to move back to a reserve role in Week 14 if Moss is able to return.
