  • 76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Struggles in season finale

Edgecombe closed with eight points (4-14 FG, 0-6 3Pt), six rebounds, seven assists and one block over 30 minutes during Sunday's 144-114 loss to the Knicks in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Edgecombe had some issues from the field, shooting just 28.6 percent, bringing to a close what was an impressive rookie season. While he was not really in the Rookie of the Year discussion, Edgecombe certainly compiled a solid campaign, averaging 15.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.0 three-pointers over 75 regular-season games plus the playoffs. He closed as a top-70 fantasy asset, which should put him on the radar as a mid-round selection heading into next season.

  • 76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Scores 17 points with three treys

Edgecombe produced 17 points (6-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal across 40 minutes during Wednesday's 108-102 loss to the Knicks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Edgecombe has been playing well through the first two games of this series, totaling 29 points on 11-for-24 shooting to go with five triples and five dimes. He may need to stay hot in Game 3 to give Philly its best chance of avoiding an 0-3 deficit.

  • 76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Quiet in Game 1

Edgecombe registered 12 points (5-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-2 FT), one rebound, two assists and one steal in 28 minutes during Monday's 137-98 loss to the Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

The 76ers were blown out of this contest, and fatigue may have played a role after a grueling seven-game series against Boston. Through eight playoff games, Edgecombe is shooting 42.2 percent from the field and 31.5 percent from three with averages of 14.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 steals in 37.1 minutes per contest.

  • 76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Strong performance in closeout win

Edgecombe contributed 23 points (8-17 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and four assists over 44 minutes during Saturday's 109-100 victory over Boston in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Edgecombe helped put an end to Boston's season, adding to what has already been an impressive rookie season. It was the first time Philadelphia has been able to rally from a 3-1 series deficit, and doing so against Boston made it that much sweeter. In his first seven postseason appearances, Edgecombe has averaged 15.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.1 three-pointers in a whopping 38.4 minutes per game.

  • 76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Massive regression in Game 4

Edgecombe racked up six points (2-9 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 36 minutes during Sunday's 128-96 loss to Boston in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Edgecombe matched his second-lowest total of the season in the blowout loss. He had difficulty finding his shooting stroke in the defeat, connecting on only two shots and going scoreless beyond the arc. The Sixers depend heavily on the rookie for multi-category production, and he'll need to step up in Game 5 to give the Sixers a chance to steal another game from the Celtics.

  • 76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Inefficient double-double

Edgecombe supplied 10 points (5-17 FG, 0-7 3Pt), 10 rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal across 41 minutes during Friday's 108-100 loss to the Celtics in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Edgecombe recorded his second straight double-double and his third in the past four games. However, it came on inefficient shooting, as he needed 17 shot attempts to reach just 10 points. Philadelphia now finds itself trailing 2-1 heading into Game 4 on Sunday. Edgecombe will look to turn things around on the offensive end in the hopes of leveling things up at 2-2.

  • 76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Double-doubles in win

Edgecombe supplied 30 points (12-20 FG, 6-10 3Pt), 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals across 35 minutes in Tuesday's 111-97 win over the Celtics in Game 2 of the first round of the playoffs.

Edgecombe exited to the locker room twice after taking a hard fall in the first quarter, but it didn't appear to impact his performance. The rookie became the youngest player in NBA history to record at least 30 points and 10 rebounds in a playoff game, leading Philadelphia in both categories. He also tied the game high in steals, marking his second consecutive contest with multiple swipes.
