Terquavion Smith: Bound for free agency
The 76ers didn't extend a $1.87 million qualifying offer to Smith on Saturday, making him an unrestricted free agent, Paul Hudrick of LibertyBallers.com reports.
After going undrafted out of NC State last summer, the 21-year-old spent his first professional season as a two-way player for the 76ers. He made 16 appearances for Philadelphia, averaged 3.3 points and 0.8 assists across 5.3 minutes.

76ers' Terquavion Smith: Season-best outing off bench
Smith contributed 17 points (6-7 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT) and one assist across nine minutes during Saturday's 136-121 loss to Brooklyn.
Smith led all 76ers in threes made en route to ending second on the team in scoring in his best offensive showing of the year despite playing a team-low minute total in a losing effort. Before Saturday's breakout performance, Smith had connected on two or more threes along with five or more points in just one game this year. Prior to the 17-point outing, Smith had averaged 2.2 points and 1.2 assists over five contests.

Smith won't play in Friday's preseason game against the Hawks due to an undisclosed reason, Gina Mizell of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Smith and Filip Petrusev will both miss Philadelphia's preseason finale. This could mean that both players will be cut ahead of Saturday's roster crunch, but an official transaction hasn't been made yet.

76ers' Terquavion Smith: Effective on both ends
Smith tallied 13 points (4-11 FG, 3-7 3PT, 2-3 FT), five assists, three rebounds, three steals and three blocks over 29 minutes of Saturday's 110-101 win over the Knicks during Summer League.
Though Smith is primarily known for his offensive game and ability to score at all three levels, he showcased a versatile skill set Saturday. He tied for the team high in assists while collecting six steals-plus-blocks. The undrafted guard has turned some heads early in Summer league, but he will likely have to improve on his shooting efficiency in order to have a shot at booking significant run next season.

76ers' Terquavion Smith: Joins Philadelphia on two-way deal
Smith signed a two-way contract with the 76ers on Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Smith elected to leave the collegiate ranks following a pair of productive seasons at NC State, where he averaged 17.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.4 steals in 32.7 minutes per game. He wasn't selected during Thursday's draft but will have a chance to compete for a role with the 76ers as a two-way player.
