Nets' Hunter Sallis: Plays well in SL win over Bucks
Sallis finished with 15 points (5-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, six assists, one steal and two blocks across 25 minutes in Sunday's 89-69 California Classic Summer League win over Milwaukee.
Sallis scored eight points off the bench in Saturday's 79-76 loss to Sacramento. He got the chance to start Sunday and tied Ben Humrichous with a team-high 15 points. The 23-year-old went undrafted in 2025 but inked a two-way contract with the 76ers. He appeared in seven regular-season games with Philadelphia in 2025-26, averaging 1.0 points, 0.1 rebounds, 0.6 assists and 0.1 blocks over 3.7 minutes. After being released by the 76ers, he signed a G League deal with San Diego.

Hunter Sallis: Let go by Philadelphia
The 76ers waived Sallis on Tuesday, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
Sallis signed a two-way pact with Philadelphia in June but will now have to explore other opportunities after being waived. In a corresponding move, the Sixers have signed MarJon Beauchamp to a two-way deal. Sallis saw limited action with the parent club and was unable to impress in his eight outings with the G League's Delaware Blue Coats, during which he averaged 12.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game while shooting just 38.5 percent from the field and 18.8 percent from three-point range.

76ers' Hunter Sallis: Picks up shoulder injury
Sallis has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Pacers due to a right shoulder sprain.
Sallis has appeared in six games so far this season for the Sixers and is averaging 1.2 points in 4.2 minutes, so his absence shouldn't have much of an impact on the rotation.

76ers' Hunter Sallis: Inactive for Sunday
Sallis is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Lakers, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
Sallis is on a two-way deal with the 76ers, meaning he can only spend a total of 42 games on the active roster, so Philly will hold him out Sunday night. Sallis' next chance to join the active roster will come Friday versus the Pacers.

76ers' Hunter Sallis: Season-high nine minutes
Sallis posted two points (1-2 FG), two assists and one block across nine minutes during Tuesday's 144-103 loss to the Magic.
Philadelphia was embarrassed Tuesday, resulting in some weird and wacky rotations late in the game. Sallis saw action for just the fifth time this season, bringing his season total to 16 minutes. Clearly, there is nothing to see here from a fantasy perspective.

76ers' Hunter Sallis: Plays 22 minutes from second unit
Sallis ended with eight points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and one assist in 22 minutes during Thursday's 99-84 preseason loss to the Knicks.
The undrafted rookie quickly netted a two-way contract with the 76ers following the NBA Draft this past June, so he has a place with the G League's Delaware Blue Coats waiting for him once the preseason comes to an end. With Jared McCain (thumb) out of commission, Sallis will likely play a key role in the Philadelphia second unit during exhibition play.

Hunter Sallis: Signs with Philadelphia
Sallis is signing with the 76ers on a two-way contract, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Sallis delivered on his recruiting hype after transferring from Gonzaga to Wake Forest, posting 18.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals on 45.7 percent shooting and 27.7 percent from three across 32 games in 2024-25. He leverages his length well on defense and when finishing at the rim, but questions remain about his position fit at the next level and his consistency as a shooter.
