Nuggets' Jonas Valanciunas: Strong line in win
Valanciunas closed with 15 points (7-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), six rebounds and two assists over 19 minutes during Thursday's 136-105 win over the Kings.
The Nuggets blew the Kings out early, so Nikola Jokic was able to call it a night after 29 minutes. Valanciunas feasted in garbage time as a result, once again showcasing his per-minute upside.

Nuggets' Bruce Brown: Strong line in win
Brown logged eight points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 26 minutes during Thursday's 136-105 win over the Kings.
This was one of Brown's best performances in a while, but fantasy managers will want to see more consistency. Over his last seven appearances, Brown has been outside the top-200 players in standard nine-category formats with averages of 7.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 0.7 steals in 24.4 minutes per contest.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Struggles with shot Thursday
Murray closed Thursday's 136-105 win over the Kings with 11 points (4-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, nine assists and two steals across 26 minutes.
Murray had a subpar performance Thursday, but the Nuggets didn't need him at his best in a 31-point blowout win over the Kings. Murray is enjoying an excellent start to the season, and one bad game shouldn't worry fantasy managers too much. The star guard is averaging 26.0 points, 7.8 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game since the beginning of December.

Nuggets' Peyton Watson: Goes for 21 points
Watson ended Thursday's 136-105 victory over Sacramento with 21 points (7-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-8 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 23 minutes.
Watson, along with Cameron Johnson (16 points), were the two players who stepped up for the Nuggets in a game where Jamal Murray had an outing to forget (11 points, 4-13 FG). Watson continues to produce in a starting role, and while he's not going to carry the team offensively, he's done a decent job filling in for the injured Aaron Gordon (hamstring). Watson is averaging 14.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 blocks per game over his last nine appearances.

Nuggets' Cameron Johnson: Bounces back Thursday
Johnson finished Thursday's 136-105 win over Sacramento with 16 points (6-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal over 33 minutes.
Johnson stepped up in a game where Jamal Murray struggled, and the veteran forward has now scored at least 15 points in six of his last nine appearances. His shooting splits are also favorable. Over that nine-game stretch, Johnson is scoring 15.6 points per game while shooting 49.5 percent from the floor and 46.3 percent from three-point range. Johnson's overall season numbers might not be encouraging, but it's clear he's left his early-season shooting woes in the past.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Rolls to another productive night
Jokic chipped in 36 points (14-16 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 12 rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 29 minutes during Thursday's 136-105 victory over the Kings.
Jokic dominated on the offensive end of the court, leading the Nuggets in scoring by drilling 87.5 percent of his field-goal attempts. He also managed to contribute across the board, ending the night just two assists shy of a triple-double. The star center is now averaging 31.4 points, 11.6 rebounds, 10.6 assists and 1.0 steals over five December appearances.

Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Not playing Thursday
Strawther (back) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Kings.
Strawther has been sidelined by a back injury since mid-November, but the good news for the third-year forward is that he has been increasing his participation in practices, though he has yet to be cleared to engage in full basketball activities. Strawther's next opportunity to play is Monday against the Rockets, though he's unlikely to play unless he is cleared to participate in 5-on-5 practice scrimmages.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Return not imminent
Gordon (hamstring) is not expected to return before Christmas, Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette reports.
The Nuggets announced back on Nov. 23 that Gordon suffered a Grade 2 right hamstring strain, and they said he would be re-evaluated in 4-to-6 weeks. For that reason, a return before Christmas was highly unlikely anyway. For now, fantasy managers should plan to be without Gordon until the early part of January. Meanwhile, Peyton Watson will likely remain heavily involved for Denver.

Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Goes through 3-on-3 work
Strawther (back) participated in 3-on-3 scrimmages after Tuesday's practice, Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette reports.
It doesn't sound like Strawther has been cleared to engage in full basketball activities, though his progress is worth noting. The Nuggets will release their official injury report at some point Wednesday before Thursday's matchup against the Kings, and Strawther can be tentatively deemed questionable at best for now.

Nuggets' Jalen Pickett: Logs 16 minutes in win
Pickett ended with five points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 16 minutes during Sunday's 115-106 win over the Hornets.
Desperate times have called for Pickett to join the rotation Sunday, as the Nuggets are dealing with a slew of injuries to key contributors. However, it is unclear whether Pickett will see regular minutes on the court, as he eclipsed 10 minutes of playing time just three times this season, and he is not a reliable fantasy option in any format.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Near triple-double vs. Charlotte
Jokic posted 28 points (11-16 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 11 assists, nine rebounds and one steal over 35 minutes during the Nuggets' 115-106 win over the Hornets on Sunday.
It was another stat-stuffing performance from the three-time MVP on Sunday, and Jokic finished one rebound shy of recording his 12th triple-double of the regular season. He is up to a league-leading 21 double-doubles on the year, and he's opened the 2025-26 regular season averaging 29.2 points, 12.3 rebounds, 11.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.8 blocks over 34.9 minutes per game

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Fast start vs. Charlotte
Murray posted 34 points (14-25 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six assists, three rebounds and one steal over 35 minutes during the Nuggets' 115-106 win over the Hornets on Sunday.
Murray came out firing with 21 first-quarter points on 9-for-11 shooting. He cooled off over the last three frames but still finished as the game's leading scorer, and his plus-14 point differential was tied with Spencer Jones for the most on the Nuggets. Over his last 10 outings, Murray has averaged 27.4 points, 7.6 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 4.2 threes and 0.8 steals over 35.9 minutes per game.

Nuggets' Tim Hardaway: Logs season high in win
Hardaway logged 17 points (5-11 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-5 FT) and six rebounds in 27 minutes during Friday's 134-133 win over Atlanta.
Hardaway provided a spark off the bench for Denver, leading the second unit in points. The veteran swingman has scored in double figures in six straight games, shooting 41.9 percent from beyond the arc during that span. He also chipped in a season-high six rebounds Friday. While it's encouraging to see Hardaway contribute on the glass, he rarely provides much fantasy value outside of points and three-pointers.
