Flames' Joel Farabee: Tallies on power play
Farabee scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Stars.
Farabee has three goals over two contests since he snapped a six-game skid. The 25-year-old put the Flames ahead 2-0 early in the third period, though that lead didn't stick. Farabee has been streaky this season, a product of playing in a weak offense. He's at five goals, 10 points, 43 shots on net, 21 hits, 15 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating over 23 appearances. He should continue to see middle-six minutes.

Flames' Joel Farabee: Lights lamp twice in win
Farabee scored two goals in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Sabres.
After giving the Flames a 2-0 lead in the first period, Farabee added an insurance tally in the third as the visitors began to pull away. The 25-year-old winger snapped a six-game point drought with the performance, and it was the first time in 2025-26 he's produced multiple points in a game. Through 22 contests on the season, Farabee has scratched out just four goals and nine points.

Flames' Joel Farabee: Four-game, four-point streak
Farabee scored a goal in Saturday's 4-2 loss to Nashville.
Farabee cut Calgary's deficit to 3-2 at 11:57 of the third period with a one-timer from the right circle on a beautiful feed from Nazem Kadri. Farabee is on a four-game, four-point scoring streak (two goals, two assists. Overall, he has two goals and six points in 13 games this season.

Flames' Joel Farabee: First goal of season
Farabee scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-3 loss to Toronto.
Farabee cut hard around Max Domi and jammed the biscuit between Anthony Stolarz's pads at the top of the crease. It was Farabee's first goal of the season (11 games). He does have a point in each of his last two games (four shots), but this sluggish start is throwing shades of 2024-25 when he managed just 25 points in 81 games between Philly and Calgary -- and that included a meager three goals and three assists in 31 games in Calgary after the trade. Right now, Farabee should be languishing on your wire. He needs to prove a lot more before we'd trust him.

Flames' Joel Farabee: Contributes assist Sunday
Farabee notched an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Rangers.
Farabee snapped a six-game point drought with the secondary helper on Yegor Sharangovich's goal in the second period. The 25-year-old Farabee has struggled, as have many of his teammates, to begin the 2025-26 campaign. He's at three assists, 21 shots on net, 15 hits and a minus-4 rating over 10 contests. Head coach Ryan Huska hasn't settled on any line combinations yet, mainly due to the team's poor scoring output, so expect Farabee to bounce around the lineup until something clicks.

Flames' Joel Farabee: Provides helper in overtime loss
Farabee logged an assist, three shots on goal and two hits in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Ducks.
Farabee snapped an eight-game point drought when he set up a Yegor Sharangovich tally in the third period. The 25-year-old Farabee has been on the third line lately, but he's expected to chip in a bit more offense than he has. For the season, the winger is at 25 points, 146 shots on net, 85 hits, 49 blocked shots, 32 PIM and a minus-17 rating over 77 appearances between the Flames and the Flyers.

Flames' Joel Farabee: Back at practice
Farabee (illness) participated in Monday's practice, Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Farabee appears ready to return to the lineup against Seattle on Tuesday after missing Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Islanders. Since being acquired from Philadelphia on Jan. 30, he has collected three goals, five points, 25 shots on net, 10 blocked shots and 17 hits in 18 outings for Calgary.

Flames' Joel Farabee: Unavailable Saturday
Farabee (illness) won't be in the lineup versus the Islanders on Saturday.
Farabee will be absent for at least one game. He has notched 11 goals and 24 points in 68 games between Calgary and Philadelphia this campaign. Due to Farabee's absence, Dryden Hunt will draw back into the lineup after being a healthy scratch for the last two games.

Flames' Joel Farabee: Provides assist in loss
Farabee logged an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.
Farabee has two goals and a helper over his last four outings, adding a plus-3 rating and six shots on net in that span. The 25-year-old will have to adjust to a new line combination -- Mikael Backlund (upper body) is week-to-week, which led to Yegor Sharangovich moving back to center for this contest. Farabee is up to four points in 15 outings with the Flames and a total of 23 points, 121 shots on goal, 66 hits, 43 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating over 65 appearances when accounting for his time with the Flyers.

Flames' Joel Farabee: Nets lone goal in win
Farabee scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 1-0 win over the Canadiens.
Farabee's tally at 16:21 of the second period was the difference in this low-scoring contest. The 25-year-old is currently benefiting from the bump many Calgary forwards have received when they land on a line with Mikael Backlund and Blake Coleman. Farabee has scored in two straight games, and he's up to 22 points, 119 shots on net, 64 hits, 42 blocked shots and a minus-13 rating over 62 appearances between the Flames and Flyers this season.

Flames' Joel Farabee: Lights lamp in overtime loss
Farabee scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Stars.
Farabee endured an eight-game point drought following his Feb. 4 goal. The 25-year-old spent much of that time on the third line but has since been promoted to play with Mikael Backlund and Blake Coleman. All three forwards were cold coming into Thursday's game, but they each got on the scoresheet, which suggests the line may stick together in an attempt to develop chemistry. This season, Farabee has 10 goals, 21 points, 117 shots on net, 64 hits, 42 blocked shots, 28 PIM and a minus-15 rating over 62 appearances between the Flames and Flyers.

Flames' Joel Farabee: First goal with new team
Farabee scored a goal in a 6-3 loss to Toronto on Tuesday.
Farabee tipped in a Jonathan Huberdeau shot for the former's first goal with the Flames. The tally cut Toronto's lead to 5-3 early in the third period. Farabee has nine goals and 11 assists in 53 games overall, but the opportunity to take an offensive step forward is right in front of the 24-year-old winger. He could surprise off the wire.

Flames' Joel Farabee: Westward bound in trade
Farabee and Morgan Frost (undisclosed) were traded to the Flames from the Flyers on Thursday in exchange for Jakob Pelletier, Andrei Kuzmenko, a 2025 second-round pick and a 2028 seventh-round pick, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.
Farabee stepped up with a career-best 22 goals and 50 points in 2023-24, but he hasn't come close to replicating those numbers in 2024-25. He has 19 points over 50 appearances with the Flyers this season, and he's been a healthy scratch three times, all in January. A change of scenery could do the 24-year-old winger some good, but he'll likely remain in a middle-six role with his new team, and there's no guarantee he'll see power-play time. Farabee is still an option in deeper fantasy formats, but he's not a must-have player in most situations.

Flyers' Joel Farabee: Lights lamp in win
Farabee scored a goal in Monday's 4-2 win over the Devils.
Farabee has two goals and three assists over six contests since he was scratched for three games earlier in the month. It appears that stint in the press box helped get the 24-year-old's play back on track. He is up to eight goals, 19 points, 96 shots on net, 51 hits, 32 blocked shots, 24 PIM and a minus-9 rating over 48 appearances this season, serving in a middle-six role most of the time.

Flyers' Joel Farabee: Picks up two points in OT win
Farabee recorded a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Red Wings.
Farabee was involved in the Flyers' two goals in this low-scoring affair, breaking the deadlock in the second period and setting up the game-winner from Rasmus Ristolainen in the final seconds of overtime. Farabee has been productive since returning to the lineup three games ago, picking up four points (one goal, three assists) in that span.

Flyers' Joel Farabee: Two helpers in return to lineup
Farabee collected two assists in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Islanders.
The 24-year-old winger had the primary helper on two key goals for the Flyers, setting up Sean Couturier for the team's opening tally in the second period before feeding Cam York for the game-winner in the third. Farabee had been a healthy scratch the prior three games, and the tough love from head coach John Tortorella seems to have had the desired effect. On the season, Farabee has managed six goals and 16 points in 43 appearances with 87 shots on net, 46 hits, 28 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating.

Flyers' Joel Farabee: Lights lamp in loss
Farabee scored a goal and blocked two shots in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Kings.
Farabee has scored in back-to-back games after being limited to one goal and four assists over the previous 20 contests. The 24-year-old winger is in a tough position currently, with a fourth-line role and no power-play spot to his name. He's contributed six goals, 14 points, 77 shots on net, 42 hits, 23 blocked shots and a minus-13 rating over 37 appearances. Fantasy managers can find more productive options on the waiver wire.

Flyers' Joel Farabee: Fills empty cage
Farabee scored an empty-net goal on four shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Ducks.
Farabee ended a seven-game goal drought with the empty-netter, which he scored just after serving the Flyers' bench minor for too many men on the ice. The winger isn't a penalty killer, so he often serves team penalties to be a scoring threat coming out of the box. The 24-year-old is at five goals, 13 points, 76 shots on net, 42 hits, 21 blocked shots, 17 PIM and a minus-13 rating over 36 appearances this season. A repeat of his 50-point campaign from last year is unlikely, and even the 30-point threshold could take some work for Farabee to reach in 2024-25.

Flyers' Joel Farabee: Finds twine in loss
Farabee scored a goal on four shots and added five hits in Sunday's 4-2 loss to Utah.
Farabee hadn't scored since Nov. 9 versus the Panthers, producing just two assists over 12 games between tallies. The 24-year-old winger has seen top-line usage over the last couple of weeks, likely in an effort to get him going on offense. He's had at least three shots on net in eight straight games, so it's likely just a matter of time before he starts converting more regularly. Farabee now has four goals, 10 points, 63 shots on net, 36 hits, 17 blocked shots, 17 PIM and a minus-9 rating over 28 appearances.
