Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: Goal, assist in shootout win
Dellandrea scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over the Kings.
Dellandrea set up an Adam Gaudette goal early in the first period before scoring one of his own just before the intermission. This was Dellandrea's first multi-point effort of the season, and it snapped a six-game skid. The 25-year-old forward has eight points (two goals, six assists) in 21 appearances this year, matching his point total from 68 contests a year ago. He's added 22 shots on net, 59 hits, 14 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating as a regular in the Sharks' bottom-six in 2025-26.

Dellandrea scored a shorthanded goal on two shots, added two PIM and logged two hits in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Kraken.
The third-period tally was Dellandrea's first of the season. The 25-year-old has been a decent depth scorer in a bottom-six role this year, supplying six points, 11 shots on net, 31 hits, 10 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 14 appearances. Dellandrea's usage is mostly defensive in nature, but he's just two points shy of matching his total from 68 games a year ago.

Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: Set to play Wednesday
Dellandrea (lower body) will play in Wednesday's game against Seattle, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
Dellandrea skipped Tuesday's practice due to the injury, but he was back on the ice for Wednesday's morning skate. He has appeared in each of the Sharks' first 13 games of the season, recording five assists, 29 hits, nine blocked shots and two PIM while averaging 13:06 of ice time.

Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: Dealing with lower-body issue
Dellandrea will travel with the team for Wednesday's matchup with Seattle despite a lower-body injury, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
Dellandrea is goalless through 13 games this season while putting just nine shots on net. The 25-year-old center has added five helpers and 29 hits along the way, but will no doubt be eager to find the back of the net sooner rather than later. If Dellandrea can't play Wednesday, it could see the Sharks rolling with seven blueliners against the Kraken.

Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: Hands out assist
Dellandrea posted an assist, two shots on goal, four hits and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.
Dellandrea set up a Jeff Skinner tally at 5:31 of the first period. The 25-year-old Dellandrea is getting a chance to center the third line to begin 2025-26. There's still plenty of moving pieces in the middle six -- Will Smith is on the wing and Michael Misa will get his NHL debut at some point. Dellandrea may not stay down the middle all year, but he plays with enough physicality that he should be able to stay in the lineup even if he has to move to the wing or down to the fourth line. However, he had just eight points in 68 appearances in 2024-25, so he's unlikely to be a big scoring threat.

Dellandrea has a modest two helpers over his last six games, but it's better than the 11-game point drought that preceded this stretch. The 24-year-old is holding down a bottom-six spot in the lineup and should stay there through the end of the season. He's contributed just eight points with 42 shots on net, 151 hits, 47 PIM, 40 blocked shots and a minus-23 rating through 60 appearances this season.

Dellandrea snapped an 11-game point drought when he set up William Eklund's first-period tally. The 24-year-old Dellandrea has not done much on offense in 2024-25, but his play as a defensive forward in the bottom six has helped him stay in the lineup regularly. He's now at seven points, 40 shots on net, 145 hits, 38 blocked shots, 41 PIM and a minus-20 rating over 55 appearances this season.

Dellandrea's point drought reached 11 games in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Capitals.
Dellandrea has racked up 39 hits, but he's added just nine shots on net, 10 PIM and a minus-4 rating in that span. The 24-year-old forward remains consistently in the lineup for a Sharks team that is currently carrying two spare forwards. His defensive work provides some on-ice value, but the lack offense makes him a non-factor in fantasy. Dellandrea is at just six points with 37 shots on net, 41 PIM, 141 hits and 38 blocked shots over 54 appearances in 2024-25.

Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: Game-time decision versus Habs
Dellandrea (upper body) will be a game-time call against Montreal on Tuesday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
Dellandrea is currently mired in a 38-game goal drought, during which he has generated a meager 23 shots. While the forward has decent value in banger formats given his ability to dish out hits -- he's registered 99 of them in 41 outings -- his offensive upside is extremely limited.

Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: Exits after high hit
Dellandrea (upper body) won't return to Thursday's game versus the Predators.
Dellandrea was clobbered on a hit away from the puck in the second period and immediately went to the locker room, so it's not surprising that he's done for the game. If he's forced to miss additional time, Collin Graf or Carl Grundstrom were the healthy scratches at forward for Thursday's contest and could enter the lineup in a bottom-six capacity. The Sharks' next game is Saturday at home versus the Panthers.

This was Dellandrea's sixth straight game in the lineup, and he was able to earn his first point since Nov. 30. Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: Struggling in limited role
Dellandrea has just three assists over 21 games since he returned from a hand injury in early November.
Dellandrea saw middle-six minutes immediately after his return, but a lack of success on offense has seen him relegated to fourth-line duties lately. Dellandrea was also scratched three times over four games leading into the holiday break. The 24-year-old will need to turn things around to prove himself a valuable part of the Sharks' ongoing rebuild. As of now, he has a little fantasy value in banger leagues -- he has 73 hits and 20 PIM to go with four points across 30 appearances.

Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: Notches assist in win
Dellandrea produced an assist in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.
Dellandrea snapped his six-game point drought with the helper. The 24-year-old forward is up to four points, 21 shots on net and 54 hits through 23 appearances this season, and he missed four games due to a hand injury. He hasn't been scratched, but he also hasn't been that productive when he plays. Dellandrea is likely to remain in a bottom-six role, giving him limited scoring upside.

Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: Lends helper in shootout loss
Dellandrea logged an assist, four shots on goal and three hits in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Penguins.
Dellandrea snapped an 11-game drought with the helper. He missed four contests in that span due to a hand injury. The 24-year-old forward has been a middle-six regular when healthy, but he has just two points to go with 16 shots on net, 42 hits and a minus-5 rating over 15 appearances. That isn't enough offense to justify a roster spot on most fantasy squads.
