  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Goal streak at six games

Geekie scored a power-play goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.

Geekie has a power-play tally in each of the last two games, and he's scored in six straight contests, totaling seven goals in that span. The 27-year-old is up to 11 points, 27 shots on net, 23 hits and a minus-5 rating through 13 appearances. The Bruins haven't had much depth this season, but Geekie's top-line spot has been fruitful, though his production may slip in the absence of Elias Lindholm (lower body).

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Keeps rolling Tuesday

Geekie scored a power-play goal on three shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.

Geekie is on an incredible tear with six goals over his last five games, a span in which he has posted 18 shots on net. The 27-year-old is thriving on the top line with Elias Lindholm and David Pastrnak. Through 12 outings, Geekie has eight tallies, two assists, 25 shots on goal and 22 hits, and just two of his 10 points have come on the power play despite his place on the top unit. He won't be this efficient as a scorer forever, but Geekie still has enough upside through a cushy role on a scoring line to help in fantasy.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scoring streak reaches four games

Geekie scored a goal, took three shots and delivered two hits in Monday's 7-2 loss to the Senators.

Geekie scored the first goal of the game at 3:06 of the first period with a wrister, but the Senators would take control of the game right after that. This was Geekie's seventh goal of the campaign, and he's notched five of them over an ongoing four-game scoring run. During that four-game stretch, Geekie has also racked up 15 shots on goal, seven hits and one blocked shot.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scores again Saturday

Geekie scored a goal on six shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Avalanche.

Geekie's tally at 19:55 of the second period was ultimately enough to send the Avalanche to their first regulation loss this season. The 27-year-old Geekie has been exceptional this week with four goals over his last three games. On the year, he's already at six goals, two assists, 19 shots on net, 20 hits and a minus-2 rating through 10 appearances. He's shooting 31.6 percent, which is unsustainable, but he shot 22.0 percent in a 33-goal effort over 77 regular-season outings last year. Regression will come, but Geekie will handle a top-line role until the slump hits.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Lights lamp twice in loss

Geekie scored two goals on four shots with three hits and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 7-5 loss to the Ducks.

The 27-year-old did the best he could to keep his team in the game, giving Boston a 2-1 lead midway through the second period, then tying it up at 5-5 late in the third, but it wasn't enough. Geekie has had a strong start to 2025-26, finding the back of the net five times in nine games with seven points in total as he looks to improve on last season's career-best 33 goals and 57 points in 77 regular-season contests.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Nets late goal in loss Tuesday

Geekie scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Panthers.

Geekie has four points this season, and three have come in games where the Bruins have lost. The 27-year-old recorded his third goal of the season at the 18:29 mark of the third period, but the Panthers went on to win Tuesday's matchup thanks to a Carter Verhaeghe goal with 26 seconds left in the game.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scores in loss

Geekie scored a goal in a 4-3 loss to the Lightning on Monday.

The goal came midway through the second period; it got the Bruins within one. Geekie has two goals and one assist (five shots) in his first four games. His role on the top line is secure and another near-60 point season is within reach. Geekie exploded with 33 goals and 57 points in 77 games last year.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Tallies, assists Wednesday

Geekie recorded an empty-net goal and an even-strength assist in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Capitals.

Geekie was involved in the build-up of Boston's first goal, courtesy of David Pastrnak with a snap shot midway through the first period, and he'd later close out the scoring with an empty-netter in the final minute of the contest. Geekie signed a six-year, $33 million contract extension with the Bruins in the offseason, and he should remain a regular on both the first line and the power-play unit. Geekie should have plenty of opportunities to produce on offense as long as he continues to skate alongside Pastrnak and Elias Lindholm.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Earns six-year deal

Geekie signed a six-year, $33 million contract extension with the Bruins on Sunday, according to Chris Johnston of The Athletic.

The Bruins took care of an important piece of business by locking in Geekie to a long-term deal, as the 26-year-old would have been an offer-sheet candidate July 1 considering he was a restricted free agent. Geekie set career highs in goals (33), assists (24) and points (57) last season, and he'll continue to be an integral aspect of Boston's top six and No. 1 power-play unit going forward. However, the Manitoba native had a 22.0 percent conversion rate on 150 shots on goal in 2024-25, so fantasy managers will want to keep in mind that negative regression in that category should be expected in 2025-26.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scores in season finale

Geekie scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Devils.

Geekie had an incredible finish to 2024-25 with nine goals and 10 assists over his last 11 games. The 26-year-old totaled 33 goals, 24 assists, 150 shots on net, 110 hits and a plus-3 rating in 77 appearances. A top-line role alongside David Pastrnak was helpful, but Geekie is risky for fantasy managers to bank on in 2025-26, as his shooting percentage is virtually guaranteed to drop from this year's 22.0 percent mark.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Eclipses 10-game point streak

Geekie scored a goal and fired two shots on net in Sunday's 4-1 victory over Pittsburgh.

Geekie found the back of the net midway through the second period for the Bruins' third goal of the game. The 26-year-old rising star hasn't just been one of Boston's top skaters down the stretch, but has also been posting points alongside the league's best names. Geekie is up to 18 points in his last 10 games with eight goals and 19 shots on net in that span. Overall, the top-line left winger is up to 32 goals and a career-high of 56 points in 76 appearances this season. At 32 goals, he is tied for 26th in the league with Sidney Crosby, Nathan MacKinnon, Mikko Rantanen and other stars across the NHL. With his overall improvement and situation playing alongside a premiere playmaker in David Pastrnak, Geekie is one of the most intriguing options in fantasy ahead of the 2025-26 season, though regression is very likely given his 21.6 shooting percentage.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Two points against Chicago

Geekie scored a goal and added an assist in Thursday's 5-2 loss to Chicago.

While very little has gone right for Boston this season, Geekie's chemistry with David Pastrnak on the top line offers something to build on. Geekie extended his point streak to nine games with Thursday's effort, a stretch in which he's produced seven goals and 17 points, and the 25-year-old has delivered career-best numbers in goals (31), points (55) and shots on net (146) in 2024-25.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Reaches 30-goal mark

Geekie tallied a goal and put three shots on net in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to New Jersey.

Geekie's goal opened the door for the Bruins to pile on three twine finders in the first 10 minutes of the third period. With Tuesday's tally, the 26-year-old forward has eclipsed the 30-goal mark for the first time in his six-year career. He has quietly been one of the most effective forwards down the stretch with 18 points in his last 11 games. Geekie has arguably been Boston's most-improved player this season as his 13-goal increase has added much-needed value to the Bruins' offense this year. Part of this development can be attributed to playing alongside David Pastrnak on Boston's top line, as the two have been the most consistent names found on the Bruins' scoresheets. However, Geekie's development has also been driven by his increased shot efficiency. He has converted goals on 21 percent of his shots on net this season, which is nearly an eight percent increase from a season ago. He has great value in all fantasy formats for the remainder of the season.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Extends streak with goal

Geekie scored a goal on four shots in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Sabres.

Geekie has five goals and eight assists during his seven-game point streak. The 26-year-old's late surge has him up to 29 tallies, 51 points, 140 shots on net, 105 hits and a minus-2 rating over 73 appearances -- a massive improvement on his previous career highs of 17 goals and 39 points from 2023-24. Given his recent success, Geekie should be rostered in virtually all fantasy formats to close out 2024-25.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Records five points Saturday

Geekie notched one goal and four assists in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Hurricanes.

Geekie extended his point streak to six games in style, notching one of the best performances of his career by participating directly in each of Boston's five goals. The five-point showing was a season-high mark by a wide margin, as he hadn't previously tallied more than two points in a single game. Geekie has 12 points (four goals, eight assists) over his ongoing six-game point streak.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Five-game, seven-point streak

Geekie picked up an assist Thursday in a 4-1 loss to Montreal.

Geekie has seven points (three goals, four assists) during his current five-game point streak. Geekie has quietly delivered a career season with 27 goals, 18 assists and 135 shots in 71 games. He's tied for second in team scoring with Pavel Zacha with 45 points, second only to David Pastrnak, who has 89. Center is deep, but Geekie may provide short-term help for fantasy managers, especially in formats that use forward roster spots instead of centers.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Dishes pair of helpers

Geekie recorded two assists in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Capitals.

Geekie set up both of David Pastrnak's goals in the game, including one on the power play. This was Geekie's third multi-point effort in his last seven games, a span in which he's earned five goals and four assists. The 26-year-old forward is up to 27 goals, 17 helpers, nine power-play points, 134 shots on net, 98 hits and a minus-4 rating over 70 contests.
