Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Pots goal in loss
Geekie scored a goal on six shots and added two hits in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Sharks.
Geekie solved Yaroslav Askarov midway through the third period, but the Bruins weren't able to tie the game. Over the first three games of this road trip, Geekie has scored five of the Bruins' six goals. The 27-year-old forward has 17 goals -- tied for the league lead with Nathan MacKinnon again -- and six assists over 24 appearances. Geekie has added 65 shots on net, 44 hits and a minus-7 rating. The finishing touch is remarkable, but Geekie's also shooting 26.2 percent, which isn't going to last forever.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Nets both goals in win
Geekie scored a pair of goals on three shots and added three hits in Friday's 2-1 overtime win over the Kings.
Geekie opened the scoring at 8:01 of the third period and closed it out with the game-winner 2:27 into overtime. He's back in a tie for first in the league in goals with 16, even with Colorado superstar Nathan MacKinnon. This was Geekie's second multi-goal game in a row. The 27-year-old has 22 points, 59 shots on net, 42 hits and a minus-7 rating over 23 appearances. At this point, he's too good to be lingering on the waiver wire, but fantasy managers should still be ready to pivot if his percentage-driven success falls off.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Claims share of goal lead
Geekie scored two power-play goals and doled out seven hits in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Ducks.
After being held off the scoresheet for two games, Geekie's offense came back in a big way Wednesday. He's claimed a share of the NHL goal lead, tying Nathan MacKinnon and Leon Draisaitl atop the leaderboard through Wednesday's action. Geekie is up to 14 goals, 20 points, 56 shots on net, 39 hits and a minus-8 rating through 22 appearances. The 27-year-old probably can't keep pace with the NHL's best all year, but his chemistry with David Pastrnak on the Bruins' top line is undeniable.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scores 12th goal of season
Geekie scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Senators.
Geekie extended his point streak to five games with this two-point effort, and the 27-year-old center continues to be one of the most consistent forwards on the Boston roster. He's recorded at least one point in 11 of his last 12 appearances, tallying 10 goals and four assists, as well as 39 shots and 15 hits, over that span. Geekie is among the NHL leaders in goals, ranking tied for second in the league with his 12 and trailing only Nathan MacKinnon, who has 14 and a league-leading 33 points.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Among leaders in goals
Geekie had a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Maple Leafs.
Geekie scored his 11th goal of the season early in the first period when he fanned on his first shot, recovered the puck and wired it past Anthony Stolarz's outstretched left leg. He has four points (two goals, two assists) on his current three-game point streak. Geekie leads the Bruins in goals and sits second in team scoring with 15 points. He is tied for the second-most goals in the league.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Pots 10th goal of season
Geekie scored a goal on a team-high four shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Senators.
After giving the red light a break for a couple contests, Geekie found the back of the net Thursday for the 10th time in 16 games, putting him one back of league leaders Sidney Crosby and Cutter Gauthier in the early stages of the race for the Rocket Richard Trophy. Geekie set a career high with 33 goals in 77 games in 2024-25, production that came on 22.0 percent shooting, but he's somehow been even more efficient this season with a 27.8 percent mark. The 27-year-old's offense tends to come from in close -- Thursday's tally came when he tapped in a puck that got through Linus Ullmark but bounced off the post into the crease -- so while regression is almost certainly coming for his shooting percentage, it may not bite as hard as expected.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Goal streak at six games
Geekie scored a power-play goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.
Geekie has a power-play tally in each of the last two games, and he's scored in six straight contests, totaling seven goals in that span. The 27-year-old is up to 11 points, 27 shots on net, 23 hits and a minus-5 rating through 13 appearances. The Bruins haven't had much depth this season, but Geekie's top-line spot has been fruitful, though his production may slip in the absence of Elias Lindholm (lower body).

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Keeps rolling Tuesday
Geekie scored a power-play goal on three shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.
Geekie is on an incredible tear with six goals over his last five games, a span in which he has posted 18 shots on net. The 27-year-old is thriving on the top line with Elias Lindholm and David Pastrnak. Through 12 outings, Geekie has eight tallies, two assists, 25 shots on goal and 22 hits, and just two of his 10 points have come on the power play despite his place on the top unit. He won't be this efficient as a scorer forever, but Geekie still has enough upside through a cushy role on a scoring line to help in fantasy.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scoring streak reaches four games
Geekie scored a goal, took three shots and delivered two hits in Monday's 7-2 loss to the Senators.
Geekie scored the first goal of the game at 3:06 of the first period with a wrister, but the Senators would take control of the game right after that. This was Geekie's seventh goal of the campaign, and he's notched five of them over an ongoing four-game scoring run. During that four-game stretch, Geekie has also racked up 15 shots on goal, seven hits and one blocked shot.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scores again Saturday
Geekie scored a goal on six shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Avalanche.
Geekie's tally at 19:55 of the second period was ultimately enough to send the Avalanche to their first regulation loss this season. The 27-year-old Geekie has been exceptional this week with four goals over his last three games. On the year, he's already at six goals, two assists, 19 shots on net, 20 hits and a minus-2 rating through 10 appearances. He's shooting 31.6 percent, which is unsustainable, but he shot 22.0 percent in a 33-goal effort over 77 regular-season outings last year. Regression will come, but Geekie will handle a top-line role until the slump hits.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Lights lamp twice in loss
Geekie scored two goals on four shots with three hits and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 7-5 loss to the Ducks.
The 27-year-old did the best he could to keep his team in the game, giving Boston a 2-1 lead midway through the second period, then tying it up at 5-5 late in the third, but it wasn't enough. Geekie has had a strong start to 2025-26, finding the back of the net five times in nine games with seven points in total as he looks to improve on last season's career-best 33 goals and 57 points in 77 regular-season contests.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Nets late goal in loss Tuesday
Geekie scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Panthers.
Geekie has four points this season, and three have come in games where the Bruins have lost. The 27-year-old recorded his third goal of the season at the 18:29 mark of the third period, but the Panthers went on to win Tuesday's matchup thanks to a Carter Verhaeghe goal with 26 seconds left in the game.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scores in loss
Geekie scored a goal in a 4-3 loss to the Lightning on Monday.
The goal came midway through the second period; it got the Bruins within one. Geekie has two goals and one assist (five shots) in his first four games. His role on the top line is secure and another near-60 point season is within reach. Geekie exploded with 33 goals and 57 points in 77 games last year.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Tallies, assists Wednesday
Geekie recorded an empty-net goal and an even-strength assist in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Capitals.
Geekie was involved in the build-up of Boston's first goal, courtesy of David Pastrnak with a snap shot midway through the first period, and he'd later close out the scoring with an empty-netter in the final minute of the contest. Geekie signed a six-year, $33 million contract extension with the Bruins in the offseason, and he should remain a regular on both the first line and the power-play unit. Geekie should have plenty of opportunities to produce on offense as long as he continues to skate alongside Pastrnak and Elias Lindholm.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Earns six-year deal
Geekie signed a six-year, $33 million contract extension with the Bruins on Sunday, according to Chris Johnston of The Athletic.
The Bruins took care of an important piece of business by locking in Geekie to a long-term deal, as the 26-year-old would have been an offer-sheet candidate July 1 considering he was a restricted free agent. Geekie set career highs in goals (33), assists (24) and points (57) last season, and he'll continue to be an integral aspect of Boston's top six and No. 1 power-play unit going forward. However, the Manitoba native had a 22.0 percent conversion rate on 150 shots on goal in 2024-25, so fantasy managers will want to keep in mind that negative regression in that category should be expected in 2025-26.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scores in season finale
Geekie scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Devils.
Geekie had an incredible finish to 2024-25 with nine goals and 10 assists over his last 11 games. The 26-year-old totaled 33 goals, 24 assists, 150 shots on net, 110 hits and a plus-3 rating in 77 appearances. A top-line role alongside David Pastrnak was helpful, but Geekie is risky for fantasy managers to bank on in 2025-26, as his shooting percentage is virtually guaranteed to drop from this year's 22.0 percent mark.
