Lundell delivered a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Saturday's 6-2 romp over the Senators.
The 24-year-old center potted Florida's fourth goal late in the second period before setting up Mackie Samoskevich for the team's fifth early in the third. Panthers' Anton Lundell: Notches power-play goal
Lundell scored a power-play goal Thursday in a 2-1 win over the Flyers.
Lundell is the obvious choice to pick up the offensive slack with the absence of Matthew Tkachuk and Aleksander Barkov, but his defense-first focus could get in the way. This goal is a great sign -- he wired a sharp wrister from the right circle that beat Dan Vladar. Lundell set a career-best mark last season with 45 points (17 goals, 28 assists), and he'll attempt to build on his momentum this year.

Panthers' Anton Lundell: Cleared for Opening Night
Head coach Paul Maurice said Monday that Lundell (upper body) is good to go for Tuesday's Opening Night matchup against Chicago, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Lundell suffered an upper-body injury in Thursday's preseason game against the Lightning, and he was considered day-to-day afterward. However, he won't be forced to miss the start of the regular season due to the issue. The 24-year-old recorded 17 goals, 28 assists, 110 hits, 54 blocked shots and 36 PIM while averaging 16:43 of ice time over 79 regular-season appearances with Florida last year.

Panthers' Anton Lundell: Doubtful Saturday
Lundell is day-to-day with an upper-body injury and will likely miss Saturday's preseason finale versus Tampa Bay, according to George Richards of Florida Hockey Now.
Lundell could take over as the Panthers' No. 1 center with Aleksander Barkov (knee) out for the season, though Sam Bennett is likely the favorite at this time. Lundell had a strong season as the Panthers' third-line center in 2024-25, scoring 17 times and adding 28 assists over 79 regular-season games. Lundell (upper body) will be evaluated Friday after sustaining an injury in Thursday's preseason game versus the Lightning, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.

Lundell set up Brad Marchand twice in Game 2. The first assist was on a shorthanded goal in the second period to give the Panthers a 4-3 lead, while the second helper was on the game-winner 8:05 into the second overtime. This was Lundell's first multi-point effort since Game 2 of the second round versus the Maple Leafs. The center has produced five goals, nine helpers, 40 shots on net, 25 hits, 19 blocked shots and a plus-15 rating over 19 appearances this postseason, mainly in a third-line role.
