Sabres' Alex Tuch: Sets up four goals Friday
Tuch recorded four assists, including one on the power play, in Friday's 9-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Tuch has gone three games without finding the back of the net, but he doesn't need to find the twine to be productive. The four assists were a season-high output for the 29-year-old, with the four-point performance also being his best mark of the current campaign. Tuch has been playing well of late for a Sabres team that has won three of its last four games. He has nine points (three goals, six assists) in his past 10 appearances.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Pots goal Saturday
Tuch scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Red Wings.
Tuch has two goals and two assists over his last four outings. He's been pretty steady all season, with just two point droughts of two games and none longer than that. The 29-year-old winger is up to seven goals, nine assists, 41 shots on net, 31 PIM, 20 blocked shots, nine hits and a plus-1 rating over 18 appearances. He has yet to record a power-play point, so there could still be more offense for Tuch to gain should he get more involved in that situation.

Tuch recorded a goal, an assist and three hits in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes.

Tuch has been productive of late and has cracked the scoresheet in four of his last six games with Buffalo, tallying seven points (three goals, four assists), 11 shots, five hits, five blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over that span.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Finds twine in win
Tuch scored a goal, put two shots on net, blocked two attempts and served four PIM in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over Washington.
Tuch found the back of the net to level the score in the first period at two goals apiece. Overall, the 29-year-old winger has five goals, 12 points, 29 shots and 15 blocks through his first 12 games of the season. He currently leads the Sabres in points and has at least one tally in eight of his last 10 contests. His consistency has been a contributing factor to the rise of Josh Doan, who has nine points while skating alongside Tuch on the Sabres' second line. Tuch has good value in most fantasy formats and should be a large part of Buffalo's endeavors this season.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Two-point effort Thursday
Tuch produced a goal and an assist in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Bruins.
Tuch earned the Sabres a point in the standings by sparking a third-period comeback from a 3-1 deficit. The 29-year-old winger's shot early in the frame generated a big rebound that Josh Doan was able to corral and slot behind Joonas Korpisalo, and Tuch then snapped home the tying tally with a little over five minutes left in regulation. It's his third multi-point performance in the last four games, and through 11 contests to begin the season, Tuch has racked up four goals and 11 points.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Collects pair of points
Tuch scored a shorthanded goal on two shots, dished an assist, blocked four shots and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-3 win over the Maple Leafs.
Tuch's goal provided some insurance in the third period. He also helped out on the first of Mattias Samuelsson's two tallies in the contest. Tuch's slow start was a product of the Sabres' scoring woes -- all seven of his points have come over the last six games since the team has started to turn things around. He's added 23 shots on net, 13 blocks, six PIM and a plus-3 rating over eight appearances as he continues to provide quality defensive work on the wing.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Productive in big win
Tuch delivered a goal on four shots while adding an assist, three blocked shots, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 8-4 win over the Senators.

Tuch has three points in four games to kick off the 2025-26 campaign as he looks to match or even exceed his career high of 36 goals, a mark he's reached in two of the last three seasons.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Gets on scoresheet in defeat
Tuch recorded an even-strength assist, three shots on goal, four PIM and a plus-1 rating in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Avalanche.
Tuch set up Tage Thompson's first goal of the campaign late in the first period, which tied the score at 1-1. This was Tuch's first point of the year in his third game, as the Sabres' underwhelming start in 2025-26 (0-3-0) has correlated with minimal offensive production from the club's top players. The right-shot winger is skating on the top line and working with the No. 1 power-play unit, so he'll be a key piece in attempting to help right the ship in Buffalo.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Ready to rock
Tuch (undisclosed) will be in the lineup Saturday versus Detroit, according to Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550.
Tuch missed Thursday's tilt against the Red Wings. He had 36 goals and 67 points across 82 regular-season games in 2024-25 and will be a top-six forward as well as seeing plenty of power-play time in 2025-26.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Still sidelined Thursday
Tuch (undisclosed) will not be in the lineup versus the Red Wings on Thursday.
Tuch finished the 2024-25 campaign on a tear with nine goals and seven helpers, including four power-play points, in the Sabres' final 12 games of the season. With the late surge, the 29-year-old winger matched his career best goal total (36) while also reaching the 60-point total for the second time in the last three years. For now, there doesn't seem to be any concern regarding Tuch's availability for Opening Night, but the longer his absence lingers, the more worrisome things will get for fantasy managers.

Tuch (undisclosed) will not feature in Tuesday's preseason game versus Columbus, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.
Tuch is coming off the second 30-goal campaign of his career last season, posting 36 goals and 31 helpers in 82 outings with the Sabres. Barring any setbacks, the 29-year-old winger is still expected to be ready for Opening Night against the Rangers on Oct. 9, though he might have some significant rust to shake off if he doesn't get into any preseason tilts.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Joins team for practice
Tuch (undisclosed) participated in Saturday's practice, but he didn't take part in the scrimmage, Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News reports.
According to Heather Engel of NHL.com, Tuch should return to being a full participant in Monday's session. However, the 29-year-old forward likely won't play in Monday's preseason contest versus Columbus. The Sabres want him to skate a bit more before getting back into game situations. Tuch accounted for 36 goals and 67 points in 82 regular-season outings during the 2024-25 campaign.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Considered day-to-day
Tuch is day-to-day with an undisclosed injury, per Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 on Wednesday.
Tuch's injury isn't believed to be significant, so he might not end up missing any preseason action. Still, the important thing is to have him ready for the regular season, so Buffalo is expected to allow him to rest for as long as he needs to put this issue completely behind him. He had 36 goals, 67 points, 47 PIM, 73 hits and 113 blocks in 82 appearances with the Sabres in 2024-25.

Tuch scored a goal on two shots, added a shorthanded assist, blocked three shots, logged two PIM and went plus-3 in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Flyers.
Tuch's season finale was a pretty all-encompassing view of what he can bring to the lineup. The 28-year-old winger surged late in the season, racking up 16 points over his final 12 contests. He should get some attention for the Selke Trophy as the league's top defensive forward -- Tuch led all forwards in two categories, racking up nine shorthanded points and 113 blocked shots. Overall, he had 36 goals, 31 assists, 196 shots on net, 73 hits and a plus-16 rating over 82 appearances. He'll want a repeat performance as he enters his contract year in 2025-26.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Keeps rolling with shortie
Tuch scored a shorthanded goal on two shots in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Hurricanes.
Tuch currently stands alone atop the list of shorthanded goals this season -- he has six of them after Tuesday, breaking a tie with Sam Reinhart and Seth Jarvis. Tuch also leads the league with eight shorthanded points, one less than his nine power-play points as he enjoys an excellent all-around campaign. The winger has seven goals and five assists during a seven-game point streak that has him up to 63 points, 183 shots on net, 106 blocked shots, 69 hits and a plus-16 rating over 77 appearances this season. It's still a long shot, but Tuch could push for the 70-point mark if he stays hot to close out the campaign.
