Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Three more points Tuesday
Eichel scored two even-strength goals, one the game-winner, and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Hurricanes.
The 29-year-old continues his ascent to superstardom. Eichel snapped a brief two-game point drought with another eye-popping performance, with both his goals coming in the third period as the Golden Knights roared back from a 3-2 deficit. Eichel leads the NHL with 19 points (eight goals, 11 assists) in 10 games. He also ranks third in the league with 44 shots on net, behind only Nathan MacKinnon (49) and Cutter Gauthier (45).

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Sizzling start to season continues
Eichel recorded a goal, took four shots and posted a plus-3 rating in Monday's 4-1 win over the Hurricanes.
Eichel opened the scoring for the Golden Knights midway through the first period. Even though that would be his lone contribution to the scoresheet, it was enough to extend his point streak to seven games, with five multi-point efforts in that stretch. Through his first seven games of the season, Eichel has racked up a league-leading 16 points (six goals, 10 helpers) while adding a plus-7 rating and 34 shots.

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Dishes four assists in win
Eichel notched four assists, including three on the power play, in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Flames.
Eichel continues to lead the NHL in points -- he now has 15 in just six games after his second four-point effort of the season. Of his 10 assists, eight have been on the power play, but he's still looking for his first goal with the man advantage. Vegas isn't hurting in that area, though, converting nine of its 24 power-play opportunities so far for a 37.5 percent success rate, second only to Minnesota. Eichel is making the most of his talent this year and has already returned excellent value for his fantasy managers.

Eichel gave Vegas its first lead at 4:14 of the second period, and he also helped out on William Karlsson's game-winning tally early in the third. Through five contests, Eichel has four multi-point efforts -- he's up to a league-leading 11 points (five goals, six helpers), which includes five power-play points. He's added 27 shots on net, four hits, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating as he continues to do everything, and most of it well, as the Golden Knights' top talent.

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Adds two more points
Eichel scored a goal on three shots, added a power-play assist and logged two hits in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sharks.
Eichel helped out on a Pavel Dorofeyev tally in the second period before scoring a fluky goal with a favorable bounce on a dump-in that evaded Alex Nedeljkovic late in the third. With two goals and four helpers over two games, Eichel has hit the ground running in 2025-26. He's added eight shots, three hits and a plus-3 rating, and he's earned three of his six points on the power play. The 28-year-old is a must-start in virtually all fantasy formats.

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Racks up four points Wednesday
Eichel scored a goal on five shots, dished three assists and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 6-5 shootout loss to the Kings.
Eichel had a hand in both of Pavel Dorofeyev's power-play goals in the second period. In the third, Eichel scored to put Vegas ahead 4-3 and set up an Ivan Barbashev tally. All in all, it was an excellent day for Eichel, who signed an eight-year, $108 million contract extension earlier in the day to remain as the centerpiece of the Golden Knights' offense for years to come. The 28-year-old had a career-high 94 points in 77 regular-season outings in 2024-25, and he should be able to replicate that production as long as he stays healthy this year.

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Inks long-term extension with Vegas
Eichel agreed to an eight-year, $108 million contract extension with the Golden Knights on Wednesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
The Golden Knights made it a priority to extend Eichel ahead of the regular season, and the two sides ultimately came to an agreement hours before the team's Opening Night matchup against the Kings. Although Connor McDavid signed a short-term deal with the Oilers on Monday, Eichel maintained his interest in a long-term deal, and after Vegas signed Mitch Marner to an eight-year, $96 million deal during the offseason after acquiring him via trade, the Golden Knights have their core secure for nearly a decade. The 28-year-old made 77 regular-season appearances for the Golden Knights last year and recorded 28 goals and a career-high 94 points to go with 55 blocked shots and 22 hits while averaging 20:32 of ice time.

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Resumes practicing
Eichel (undisclosed) took part in Friday's practice, per Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Eichel missed Thursday's skate, but the reason for it was described as "a little tweak" by head coach Bruce Cassidy, which suggests that it was a minor issue, so it's reasonable to believe Eichel is now fine if he's practicing. Vegas would have almost certainly given Eichel additional time off from training camp if he needed it. The 28-year-old had 28 goals and 94 points in 77 regular-season appearances in 2024-25.

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Dealing with minor injury
Eichel skipped Thursday's practice because of "a little tweak," head coach Bruce Cassidy told Jesse Granger of The Athletic.
Cassidy said he didn't want to risk having Eichel skating under those circumstances this early into training camp. The 28-year-old Eichel had 28 goals and 94 points in 77 regular-season appearances with the Golden Knights in 2024-25. Provided he's healthy, Eichel should serve in a top-six capacity and on the first power-play unit this year.
