Draisaitl opened the scoring 54 seconds into the second period with his goal, and he set up Evan Bouchard on the game-winner at 2:43 of overtime. This was Draisaitl's fourth multi-point effort in the last five games, and he's on an eight-game point streak. The 30-year-old is up to nine goals, seven helpers, 38 shots on net and a plus-5 rating across 13 appearances, with eight of his 16 points coming on the power play.

Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: One of each in Tuesday's win

The 30-year-old Draisaitl has five goals and four assists during his six-game point streak, which has him looking in midseason form. He's shooting 25 percent to begin the season, but considering he's been above 18 percent in each of the last seven campaigns, Draisaitl can be expected to continue finishing at an elite rate.

This was Draisaitl's second multi-point effort in a row. He's earned four goals and three assists during a five-game point streak. The 29-year-old superstar has yet to have a real explosion of offense, which is a product of the Oilers being a mediocre 4-4-2 on the year. Draisaitl is at seven goals, four helpers, 28 shots on net and a plus-1 rating through 10 appearances, and six of his 11 points have come on the power play.

Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Records two assists in loss
Draisaitl had two assists, including one on the power play, and added five shots on goal in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Kraken.
Draisaitl also won 19 of 26 faceoffs while serving as the center on his own line. The 29-year-old had spent much of the early weeks of 2025-26 alongside Connor McDavid, but head coach Kris Knoblauch split them up to spread the wealth at 5-on-5 amid the Oilers' struggles in that situation. While it didn't work for the team, Draisaitl showed Saturday that he's more than capable of working on his own. He's up to five goals, four assists, five power-play points, 25 shots on net, four hits and an even plus-minus rating across nine appearances this season.

Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Finds twine in loss

Draisaitl found the back of the net at 7:33 of the third period. While it was a disappointing night offensively for Edmonton with just 18 shots on net, his goal is a sign that he should continue to produce even when the team struggles. Draisaitl is up to four goals, five points and 14 shots on net in six appearances this season. His goal Sunday was just his second point at even strength this year, which is a step in the right direction. Draisaitl will look to help the Edmonton offense heat up after a sluggish 2-3-1 start to the regular season. If history serves us correctly, expect to see a bump in points in the near future.

Draisaitl cut off the Canucks' comeback hopes with his third-period tally. The 29-year-old has opened 2025-26 with two goals, one assist, eight shots and a plus-1 rating over two contests. As expected, he's played on the wing for the first two games -- in formats where he didn't already have left-wing eligibility, it shouldn't take him long to gain it. Fantasy managers shouldn't have trouble finding space in their lineups for Draisaitl anyway, as he's one of a handful of players with an expectation for 100 points every year.

Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Nets 400th career goal
Draisaitl scored a goal on six shots and added an assist in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Flames.
Both of Draisaitl's points came on the power play. The goal was the 400th of his career, a milestone he reached in his 791st regular-season contest. The 29-year-old is off to a positive start in 2025-26 as he sets his sights on a fifth straight 100-point campaign. Barring disaster, Draisaitl will likely also reach the 1,000-point mark this season -- he's now 42 away after his two-point effort in the season opener.

Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Shut down in Game 6 loss
Draisaitl had four hits, two blocks and a minus-4 rating Tuesday in a 5-1 loss to the Panthers in Game 6.
He had no shots. Draisaitl and Connor McDavid were absolutely smothered by the tough-checking Panthers. The two Oilers finished at the top of the postseason scoring list with 33 points, but that's small consolation when the Cup was handed to the Panthers instead of the Oilers for the second consecutive season.
