Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Set to start Tuesday
Tarasov is slated to be between the pipes at home versus the Senators on Tuesday, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports.
Tarasov is currently stuck in a four-game losing streak and has managed just one victory in his last nine outings, going 1-8-0 with a 4.19 GAA over that stretch. Despite the lack of wins, the 27-year-old netminder continues to share the crease with veteran Sergei Bobrovsky. If the team doesn't bring Bobrovsky back next season, Tarasov figures to take over as the full-time No. 1 option.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Sunk by Isles
Tarasov made 35 saves in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders.
Florida grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first period on a pair of Matthew Tkachuk tallies, but the second frame was dominated by New York as Tarasov got beaten five times on a massive 35 shots. The 27-year-old netminder has lost four straight starts and eight of his last nine dating back to Jan. 29, going 1-8-0 over the latter stretch with a 4.19 GAA and .880 save percentage.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Starting Saturday
Tarasov will guard the visiting cage against the Islanders on Saturday, Doug Plagens of the Panthers Radio Network reports.
Tarasov has lost three straight games, but he was spectacular Thursday, turning aside 47 shots in a 3-2 loss to Minnesota. Tarasov is 9-13-2 with a 3.01 GAA and an .899 save percentage across 25 appearances this season. The Islanders are generating 2.84 goals per game, 23rd in the NHL in 2025-26.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Takes third straight loss
Tarasov stopped 47 shots in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Wild.
The 27-year-old netminder did everything he could to keep Florida in the game as he faced a season-high 50 shots, but Tarasov couldn't corral a rebound late, leading to Joel Eriksson Ek's game-winner with just five seconds left in the third period. Tarasov has lost three straight starts and has only one win in his last eight outings, going 1-7-0 with a 4.04 GAA and .881 save percentage.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Struggles in Calgary
Tarasov stopped 32 of 36 shots in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Flames.
Tarasov kept the game fairly close until late in the third period. A.J. Greer was given a game misconduct for a reckless hit, and the Flames were able to cash in twice on the ensuing major penalty to pull away. Tarasov's results have been poor lately -- he's 1-6-0 with 28 goals allowed on 210 shots over his last seven outings. For the season, the 26-year-old goalie is 9-12-2 with a 3.00 GAA and an .896 save percentage through 24 appearances, which matches his career high. He'll get a fair amount of work down the stretch as the Panthers have lately avoided overworking Sergei Bobrovsky in what's become a lost campaign. The Panthers' next game is versus the Kraken on Tuesday.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Facing Flames on Friday
Tarasov will guard the road goal versus the Flames on Friday, Doug Plagens of the Panthers Radio Network reports.
Tarasov will get the second half of a back-to-back after Sergei Bobrovsky shut out the Oilers on Thursday. The Panthers have alternated goalies for most of March, though this will be Tarasov's first outing in three games, so he's still in the backup role. It's an easy matchup, but the back-to-back factor could add some difficulty for Tarasov.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: No match for Kraken
Tarasov stopped 19 of 25 shots in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Kraken.
Tarasov took his fifth loss in his last six outings, and this was not a pretty performance. The Kraken got goals from all over the lineup, including four from the bottom six and one from a defenseman. Tarasov is down to 9-11-2 with a 2.96 GAA and an .896 save percentage over 23 appearances this season. He's alternated starts with Sergei Bobrovsky for most of March, and if the Panthers keep that pattern going, it would essentially be a white flag on their title defense. The Panthers' next game is an easy one Tuesday in Vancouver.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Between pipes in Seattle
Tarasov will defend the road cage Sunday in Seattle, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.

The 26-year-old owns a 9-10-2 record, 2.82 GAA and .901 save percentage through 22 outings this season. The Kraken have struggled lately, but they snapped their four-game losing streak in Vancouver on Saturday in a 5-2 victory. Seattle is tied for 23rd in the NHL with 2.83 goals per game and is 16-13-5 on home ice in 2025-26.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Escapes with win Tuesday
Tarasov stopped 25 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Red Wings.
The 26-year-old netminder appeared to be heading for his 11th loss of the season, but instead he fell into his career-high ninth win when Carter Verhaeghe scored twice in the final 90 seconds of the third period. It was Tarasov's first victory since Jan. 25. He has given up at least three goals in four of his last five outings, a stretch in which he has stumbled to a 3.83 GAA and .879 save percentage.

Tarasov has not earned a win since Jan. 25, going 0-4-0 with a 4.04 GAA and an .876 save percentage across his last four outings. Detroit is tied for 20th in the NHL with 2.92 goals per game this season and might be without Dylan Larkin (leg) on Tuesday.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Falls to former club
Tarasov stopped 24 of 27 shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Blue Jackets, with Columbus' final goal getting scored into an empty net.
Facing the team he made his NHL debut with in 2021-22, Tarasov didn't get a lot of help from his teammates, who fell behind 3-0 before finally finding a goal midway through the third period. With trade rumors swirling around Sergei Bobrovsky, there's a chance Tarasov could find himself at the top of the Panthers' depth chart the rest of the season, but his 8-10-2 record, 2.81 GAA and .902 save percentage through 21 outings don't hint at strong fantasy value in a starting role.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Slated to start Thursday
Tarasov was the first goaltender off the ice at morning practice and is expected to defend the visiting goal in Columbus on Thursday, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.
Tarasov has lost his last three starts, allowing 12 goals and 94 shots (.872 save percentage). Overall, the 26-year-old Russian is 8-9-2 with a 2.80 GAA and a .903 save percentage. The Blue Jackets are 18th in NHL scoring, scoring 3.12 goals per game.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Tough loss to Buffalo
Tarasov stopped 36 of 38 shots in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres, with Buffalo's final goal getting scored into an empty net.
With the game tied 1-1 midway through the third period, Beck Malenstyn put Buffalo in the lead with a shot from the blue line. However, Tarasov felt his glove was impeded by Mattias Samuelsson's stick, which prevented him from making the save. However, the Panthers lost the coach's challenge for goaltender interference. Tarasov had coughed up 10 total goals over his prior two outings, so even though it was a third straight loss, it was an encouraging performance from the 26-year-old netminder. On the season, Tarasov sports an 8-9-2 record with a 2.80 GAA and .903 save percentage.

Tarasov was hurt on the Lightning's fifth goal, and Sergei Bobrovsky came into the game to replace him. The severity of Tarasov's injury isn't yet known. He allowed five goals on 25 shots prior to the injury. He'll have three weeks to recover while the Panthers are off for the Olympic break.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Set to face Tampa Bay
Tarasov is set to start on the road against Tampa Bay on Thursday, per Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.
Tarasov is getting his first opportunity to play since he stopped 26 of 31 shots en route to a 5-4 loss to St. Louis on Jan. 29. He's 8-7-2 with a 2.67 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 18 outings in 2025-26. Tampa Bay has been one of the league's top teams dating back to Dec. 20, posting an 18-1-1 record while scoring an outstanding 4.10 goals per game over that stretch.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Beaten five times Thursday
Tarasov stopped 26 of 31 shots in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Blues.
Tarasov had won each of his previous four starts, but he took a step back in this one -- he was coming off a stretch in which he had allowed three or fewer goals in his previous five outings. Tarasov has been the backup for the Panthers behind Sergei Bobrovsky, and the nature of that role limits his upside to matchup-based situations.
