Bruins' Hampus Lindholm: Won't play Saturday
Lindholm (lower body) won't be in the lineup against Buffalo on Saturday, per Scott McLaughlin of WEEI.
Lindholm is day-to-day after being injured in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over Chicago. He didn't participate in Saturday's morning skate, but he should return to the ice for Sunday's session. If Lindholm doesn't return to action versus Tampa Bay on Monday, he is expected to accompany the Bruins on the team's three-game road trip, according to Andrew Fantucchio of Boston Hockey Now, which begins Thursday in Vegas. Jordan Harris will replace Lindholm in Saturday's lineup against the Sabres.

Lindholm's lower-body injury that he suffered Thursday versus the Blackhawks is considered minor and is unrelated to the knee injury he sustained last season, Belle Fraser of the Bruins' official site reports.
This is a positive update after Lindholm made an early exit from the Bruins' second game of the year. The 31-year-old can be considered day-to-day heading into Saturday contest versus the Sabres.

Bruins' Hampus Lindholm: Ready for training camp
Lindholm (kneecap) said he is fully healed and ready to go for the start of training camp, Kevin Paul Dupont of The Boston Globe reports Friday.
Lindholm missed a large portion of last season due to a fractured kneecap sustained in November. He is now ready to go, and he'll look to bolster the Bruins' defense, which suffered greatly without him for much of 2024-25. The 31-year-old put up seven points and 17 blocked shots in 17 appearances last year. In addition to the upcoming NHL campaign, Lindholm is also hoping to make Sweden's Olympic roster.

Lindholm (kneecap) underwent surgery for a fractured patella and is likely out for the season, Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe reports.
It'll go down as a lost season for Lindholm, who's been sidelined since initially suffering the injury on Nov. 12. The 31-year-old blueliner appeared in 17 games this year, logging three goals and seven points. Lindholm will now turn his attention towards getting back to full health ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

Bruins' Hampus Lindholm: Making progress, but not skating
Lindholm (lower body) is making progress, but isn't ready to start skating yet, per Conor Ryan of Boston.com on Thursday.
Lindholm hasn't played since Nov. 12, and there's no timetable for his return to the ice, so it seems fair to believe he isn't close to playing, given that there will be additional steps between him skating and getting into a game. He has three goals and seven points in 17 appearances in 2024-25. When healthy, Lindholm is a key part of Boston's blue line, serving in a top-four capacity and receiving a solid amount of power-play ice time.

Bruins' Hampus Lindholm: Set for extended absence
Lindholm is expected to miss "weeks," according to head coach Jim Montgomery, Jim McBride of The Boston Globe reports Wednesday.
Lindholm was chipping in solid offensive numbers prior to getting hurt, notching two goals and two assists in his last seven outings. Now, the 30-year-old blueliner figures to be sidelined for at least the rest of November given his "weeks" timeline. The team recalled Jordan Oesterle from AHL Providence on Wednesday and will likely deploy him in a third-pairing role during Lindholm's absence. Fantasy players can probably expect Lindholm to be placed on injured reserve in the next few days in order to free up a roster spot.

Bruins' Hampus Lindholm: Tallies in blowout loss
Lindholm scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 8-2 loss to the Hurricanes.
Lindholm ended a five-game point drought with his tally. The 30-year-old defenseman is up to four points, 23 shots on net, 11 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 11 appearances. Lindholm has finished with a minus rating in just three seasons in his career -- while his offense isn't always particularly strong, he's an excellent defender, so his struggles this year can at least partially be attributed to the Bruins' team-wide problems.

Bruins' Hampus Lindholm: Earns two points in win
Lindholm scored a goal on two shots and added a power-play assist in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche.
Lindholm set up a David Pastrnak tally at 9:09 of the second period and then scored a goal of his own, which was the game-winner, just 13 seconds later. Through five contests, Lindholm has three points, 13 shots on net, eight blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating. He's seeing steady top-four minutes as well as some power-play time. The 30-year-old defenseman was limited to 26 points in 73 regular-season outings a year ago, but that was just one season after a career-best 53-point effort, so he should be capable of landing somewhere in middle of those two marks in 2024-25.
