Toffoli scored a goal on three shots, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Devils.
Toffoli has two goals and an assist during his three-game point streak. He got a piece of a Dmitry Orlov shot for the Sharks' fifth goal at 18:30 of the second period. Toffoli is up to four goals, six points, 26 shots on net, 10 hits, seven blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through 11 appearances. He'll be among the Sharks' best forwards this year, but it's a good sign for the team's rebuild that he probably won't be the leading scorer, though he still produces at a level that can help in fantasy.

Sharks' Tyler Toffoli: Nets PP tally in OT win
Toffoli scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Wild.
Toffoli snapped a four-game slump with his power-play goal midway through the third period. It was his third goal of the season, and two of those have come with the man advantage. The 33-year-old hasn't been very productive despite being part of the first line, but he's averaging more than two shots per game and remains a dangerous threat in a rising San Jose attack that has scored 16 goals over its last four games.

Toffoli scored a power-play goal on four shots in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Mammoth.
Toffoli has a point in three straight games (two goals, one assist), accounting for all of his offense this season. His tally Friday was his first power-play point of the campaign. The veteran winger has added 10 shots on net, four hits and a minus-3 rating while filling a top-six role and a spot on the first power-play unit. Even if he doesn't get a ton of minutes with Macklin Celebrini, Toffoli is laying the groundwork for another 50-point season.

Toffoli scored just 3:40 into the game, setting the tone for a back-and-forth contest. Toffoli was sidelined for Monday's tilt with Calgary and now could be in danger of missing out again Wednesday. Considering the Sharks have little to play for -- in fact, the team might be better off continuing to lose down the stretch -- there is little reason to force Toffoli back into the lineup until he is 100 percent. Toffoli extended his point streak to four games (three goals, two assists) when he helped out on a William Eklund tally late in the third period. Going back to Jan. 27, Toffoli has earned at least a point in 10 of the Sharks' last 12 games, picking up seven goals and six assists in that span. The winger is up to 43 points, 174 shots on net, 41 hits and a minus-16 rating through 61 appearances. He signed a four-year deal last summer at a $6 million cap hit, so unlike some of the Sharks' other forwards, Toffoli's not going anywhere at Friday's trade deadline.

Toffoli's goal was an empty-netter, but they all count the same. He has put up a goal in each of his last three games (one assist), and he has 42 points, including 24 goals, in 60 outings this year. Toffoli's veteran leadership is solid, and he's on pace to score about 34 goals. That would match his elite season with Calgary in 2022-23 when he set his career mark.
