Jets' Nick Folk: Perfect on five kicks in Week 8
Folk connected on all three of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries during the Jets' 39-38 win over the Bengals on Sunday.
Folk put the Jets on the board early in the second quarter with a 46-yard field goal before connecting on two more chips shots from 25 and 24 yards. The 15-year veteran has yet to miss a kick through eight regular-season games, having gone 17-for-17 on field-goal tries and 9-for-9 on extra-point attempts in 2025.

The kicker connected from 34 yards in the second quarter and from 47 in the fourth. Folk is 14-of-14 on field goals and 7-of-7 on extra points in 2025, but the Jets' struggling offense limits his opportunities.

Folk connected on both of his field-goal attempts in Sunday's 37-22 loss to the Cowboys.
The kicker made a 25-yarder in the first quarter and a 48-yarder in the third, though he did not get a chance to attempt an extra point. Folk is now 9-for-9 on field goals and 7-for-7 on extra points in 2025. At the same time, his kicking opportunities depend on a Jets offense that has been inconsistent so far this season.

Jets' Nick Folk: Converts career-long 58-yard FG
Folk made both of his field-goal tries and his lone extra-point attempt Monday in a loss to Miami.
Folk ended the first half in impressive fashion, making a 58-yard field goal as time expired for the longest successful attempt of his career. The grizzled veteran added a mere 50-yard make early in the fourth quarter and also made his only extra-point try. Folk has gone a perfect 7-for-7 on field-goal attempts (including 4-for-4 from 50-plus yards) and has made all seven of his extra-point tries through four weeks.

Folk hit both of his field-goal tries and all three of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 29-27 loss to the Bucs.
Folk's field goals came from 38 and 42 yards, respectively. He's now five of five on field-goal attempts and six of six on extra-point tries in 2025. The veteran made 50 of 52 field-goal attempts over the last two seasons with the Titans, so he remains reliable.

Folk made a 51-yard field-goal attempt in the second quarter, showing that the 40-year-old kicker still has some power left in his leg. The made PAT came on the heels of a fourth-quarter touchdown pass by Tyrod Taylor, who could start at quarterback in Week 3 against the Buccaneers after Justin Fields suffered a concussion in the loss to Buffalo.

Folk went 2-for-2 on field-goal attempts and made both of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 34-32 loss to the Steelers.
Folk opened Sunday's scoring with a 35-yard field goal in the first quarter before converting on a 51-yard try late in the second quarter to give the Jets a nine-point lead. Folk signed with the Jets in late July after spending the prior two seasons with the Titans, during which he was one of the most accurate kickers in the league. Next up for Folk and the Jets is an AFC East clash against the Bills on Sunday, Sept. 14.

Jets' Nick Folk: Makes both Week 1 FG attempts
Folk made both of his field-goal attempts and both PAT tries in Sunday's 34-32 loss to the Steelers.
Folk also had a missed PAT that was negated by a Steelers penalty, which resulted in the Jets trying a two-point conversion instead. New York didn't get it and spent the rest of the game chasing that point, ultimately failing another two-point conversion in the two-point loss. Folk was perfect on his official kicks, connecting on field-goal attempts of 35 and 51 yards. The Jets' offense was surprisingly effective in Week 1, giving the veteran kicker some additional upside ahead of a Week 2 home game against the Bills.

Folk made his only field-goal attempt in Friday's 19-17 preseason loss to the Eagles.
Folk connected on a 41-yard field-goal attempt to end the first half. Meanwhile, Harrison Mevis missed a 55-yard attempt in the third quarter. Folk was already viewed as the favorite to win the Jets' kicking job after making 50 of 52 field-goal attempts over the previous two seasons with the Titans, and that standing was likely solidified Friday.

Folk connected on his first two field-goal attempts of the preseason after Harrison Mevis went 3-for-3 in the preseason opener against the Packers. Most questions about the 40-year-old Folk's ability are tied to power rather than accuracy, so it's no surprise he had no trouble making field goals of 38 and 31 yards Saturday. Folk remains the favorite over Mevis in the Jets' kicking competition.

Jets' Nick Folk: Finds job with Jets
Folk signed with the Jets on Tuesday, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Folk, who kicked for the Jets from 2010-16, suited up for 14 regular-season games with the Titans in 2024 and remained effective, converting 21 of 22 field-goal attempts -- including all six of his kicks from 50-plus yards out -- and all 25 of his extra-point tries. Now entering his age-41 season, Folk will be the favorite to start for New York in Week 1 as long as he proves in training camp that his consistency hasn't slipped. His primary competition will be UFL standout Harrison Mevis after the team waived Caden Davis on Tuesday.

Nick Folk: Still looking to catch on with team
Folk (abdomen) is aiming to return for an 18th NFL season, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Folk missed the last three games of the 2024 regular season due to an abdominal injury, but he posted a video of himself kicking field goals Wednesday and appears to be fully healthy. Folk has led the league in field-goal percentage over the past two seasons, going 50-for-52 on field-goal attempts while making all six of his tries from 50-plus yards. Given his accuracy, the veteran should be on the radar of teams looking for an upgrade at kicker.
