Falcons' Brandon Dorlus: Past abdomen issue
Dorlus (abdomen) has been participating in the Falcons' organized team activities.
Dorlus was inactive for Atlanta's 2024 season finale due to an abdomen injury, but his participation OTAs suggest he's moved past the issue. The second-year pro from Oregon appeared in just two games during his rookie campaign, recording three total tackles over 25 total snaps (19 defensive and six on special teams). Dorlus is likely to compete for a depth role on the Falcons' defensive line as the summer progresses.

Dorlus (abdomen) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Dorlus popped up on Friday's injury report as a DNP due to an abdominal injury, and he hasn't progressed enough in his recovery over the weekend to play in Sunday's regular-season finale. Dorlus was a late addition to Atlanta's injury report, popping up as a non-participant at Friday's practice due to an abdomen issue. However, the rookie defensive tackle from Oregon still has a chance to play in Sunday's regular-season finale. Falcons' Brandon Dorlus: Another pass rusher for Atlanta
The Falcons selected Dorlus in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 109th overall.
Dorlus led Oregon in sacks last season with 5.0 and had at least one sack in all five collegiate seasons with the Ducks. A multi-time first-team All-Pac-12 pass rusher, Dorlus brings a ton of positional flexibility to an Atlanta defensive line that has routinely struggled to generate pressure without blitzing in recent years.
