Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Limited to two grabs in loss
Pitts secured two of three targets for 14 yards during Sunday's 30-27 overtime loss to the Panthers.
Pitts finished behind Drake London (knee), Bijan Robinson and Darnell Mooney in terms of receiving yards in a matchup that saw Kirk Cousins take over the offense after Michael Penix (knee) was forced out in the third quarter. That leaves the Falcons' passing attack in flux as the team prepares for a Week 12 road matchup against the Saints, but that's potentially to Pitts' benefit. The 25-year-old tight end would likely see increased target volume if London misses any time, and when Cousins started versus the Dolphins in Week 8, he targeted Pitts nine times.

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Just two grabs against Indy
Pitts caught two of five targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 31-25 loss to the Colts.
The catches and yards were each the second-highest total on the day by a Falcon, as Drake London once again dominated looks from Michael Penix with a 6-104-1 line on eight targets. Pitts has caught multiple passes in every game this season, but he has yet to top 70 receiving yards and has only one touchdown, giving him a decent floor but little ceiling. The tight end will take a 45-420-1 line on 59 targets into a Week 11 meeting with the Panthers.

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Four catches in Week 9
Pitts caught four of seven targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 24-23 loss to the Patriots.
Drake London and Bijan Robinson combined for 17 catches, 168 receiving yards and three London receiving touchdowns, but Pitts was the best of the rest, as Darnell Mooney contributed Atlanta's only reception by a player other than London, Robinson or Pitts. After catching all nine of his targets from Kirk Cousins in the Week 8 loss to the Dolphins, Pitts was back to working with Michael Penix, who returned from a one-game absence due to a knee injury. Pitts has at least three receptions in every game this season heading into a Week 10 meeting with the Colts in Berlin.

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Cleared to face Pats
Pitts (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at New England, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.
Pitts handled his usual workload in last week's loss to the Dolphins and didn't miss any practices this week. He was limited Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to full participation Friday, which was enough to gain clearance on the final injury report -- something that also happened for QB Michael Penix (knee) and WR Drake London (hip), bringing Atlanta's passing game back to full strength.

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Another limited session
Pitts (ankle) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Pitts has been operating with a cap on his practice reps this week due to an ankle injury, which also can said for QB Michael Penix (knee) and WR Drake London (hip). With both Penix and London sidelined this past Sunday against the Dolphins, Pitts connected with fill-in signal-caller Kirk Cousins nine times on as many targets for 59 yards and no touchdowns. The statuses of Penix and London will be key for where Pitts stands in Atlanta's passing game Week 9, but if the tight end is available, he again could be the team's top option.

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Limited in practice
Pitts was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to an ankle injury, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.
It's a new injury after Pitts handled his normal workload in a 34-10 loss to Miami on Sunday, catching each of his nine targets for 59 yards while handling a 92 percent snap share and 100 percent route share. WR Drake London (hip), WR Darnell Mooney (hamstring) and QB Michael Penix (knee) also were limited in practice Wednesday.

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Paces pass catchers in loss
Pitts brought in all nine targets for 59 yards in the Falcons' 34-10 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
Pitts led the Falcons in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon, as the absence of Drake London (hip) opened up plenty of extra opportunity. Pitts was the only Atlanta pass catcher to truly take advantage, however, working seamlessly with fill-in signal-caller Kirk Cousins on his way to a season-high catch total. After multiple seasons of what has been perceived as underutilization in the passing attack, Atlanta's coaching staff is seemingly prioritizing keeping Pitts involved, as he'll take a 39-344-1 receiving line on 47 targets into a Week 9 road matchup against the Patriots.

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Commands 10 targets
Pitts recorded seven receptions on 10 targets for 62 yards in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the 49ers.
Pitts commanded double-digit targets for the third time in his career and for the first time since Week 5 of the 2023 season. Several of his targets came in the short areas of the field, leading to a modest yardage total, though he did manage long gains of 19 and 17 yards while also having a 27-yard catch nullified by a holding call early in the first quarter. While the volume of targets suggests this could have been a bigger game, Pitts has at least five catches in half of his six games this season and has topped 60 receiving yards in two of the last three contests.
