Titans' Nicholas Singleton: Team-high carry total Thursday
Singleton rushed eight times for 31 yards in the Titans' 19-13 preseason win over the 49ers on Thursday.
The rookie fifth-round pick is looking to lock down the No. 3 running back role this summer, and Singleton got a long look in the second half of Thursday's preseason opener. Singleton had a pair of 1,000-yard seasons at Penn State and is a capable receiver, so there's seemingly plenty of upside there, particularly for a third-day pick. Singleton figures to continue seeing plenty of action when the Titans face the Seahawks at home on Sunday, Aug. 23 in their second preseason game.

Titans' Nicholas Singleton: Participating in team drills
Singleton (foot) has been participating in team drills at OTAs, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
SIngleton suffered a Jones fracture in his foot at the Senior Bowl back in January but was deemed fully healthy ahead of the NFL Draft in April. While medically cleared, it sounds like the Titans are bringing the rookie running back along slowly and not completely unleashing him during spring practices, aiming to have him 100 percent ready for the start of training camp in July. Singleton is expected to compete for snaps and touches behind Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears under new OC Brian Daboll.

Titans' Nicholas Singleton: Bound for Tennessee
The Titans selected Singleton in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 165th overall.
Singleton, out of Penn State, boasts the size (6-foot, 219 pounds) and explosiveness of many of the backs going in the early rounds of the draft. However, some of the hype died down in 2025 after he managed only 4.5 yards per carry en route to 549 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 123 totes. He's an excellent receiver out of the backfield as well, amassing 102 catches for 987 yards and nine touchdowns over his four-year college career. However, Singleton struggles to find openings at the line and doesn't sport the necessary patience for things to develop. He also struggles a bit in pass blocking. Singleton has the raw talent to potentially develop into a contributor on offense, but he may be limited mostly to special teams as a rookie. Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears headline the Titans' running back room, but Singleton could usurp Michael Carter for the No. 3 spot on the depth chart with a good showing in camp.

Nicholas Singleton: Healthy ahead of NFL Draft
Singleton (foot) has been medically cleared and has resumed running, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Singleton suffered a fractured fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot while attending the Senior Bowl in late January, but he is now back to full health ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. The running back figures to be a mid-round selection in the three-day event beginning next Thursday in Pittsburgh. Singleton finished off a record-setting four-year career at Penn State in 2025, racking up 549 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 123 carries while also reeling in 24 of 34 targets for 219 yards and a score over 12 contests in his final campaign.
