Saints' Taysom Hill: Logs seven carries Week 10
Hill logged seven carries for 20 yards and zero receptions (on one target) for zero yards during Sunday's 17-7 win over Carolina. He also failed to complete his lone passing attempt.
Hill tallied a season high in rushing attempts for his second straight game with at least 20 rushing yards. However, four of his seven carries came on consecutive plays immediately before QB1 Tyler Shough kneeled it out on the final drive of the fourth quarter. The 35-year-old once again finished with the Saints' second-most carries behind Alvin Kamara (22) and ahead of RB2 Devin Neal (four). Over six games this season, Hill has totaled 22 carries for 52 yards and a rushing touchdown, and he has three catches on four targets. The Saints will be on bye during Week 11, so Hill's next chance to score won't be until the Week 12 contest versus Atlanta on Sunday, Nov. 23.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Leading rusher in defeat
Hill compiled zero targets during Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Rams. He also rushed four times for 30 yards.
Hill logged a team high and a season high in rushing yards, though nearly all of those yards came on his game-long 29-yard carry in the first quarter. The 35-year-old's final touch came when he was stopped for a one-yard loss on fourth down in the red zone. The Saints' offense has been extremely inefficient all season, and things didn't improve with rookie quarterback Tyler Shough making his first career start versus Los Angeles. Hill's lack of consistent touches and the continued struggles of this offense should continue to limit his production. New Orleans will next face off with the division-rival Panthers in Week 10 next Sunday.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Totals 12 yards Week 8
Hill gathered in his only target for six yards and rushed twice for six yards during Sunday's 23-3 defeat versus the Buccaneers.
Hill played his fewest number of offensive snaps this season with five. The 35-year-old has seen very limited playing time in his first four games since returning from a torn ACL four weeks ago, averaging 8.8 offensive snaps per game. He's also averaging just 3.5 touches per game, and he has not totaled over 15 yards in any of his four contests. Unless Hill sees a sharp increase in red-zone touches, he won't be worth any consideration by fantasy managers going forward. The Saints face off with the Rams in Week 9 on Sunday.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Grabs two passes Week 7
Hill reeled in both of his targets for 12 yards during Sunday's 26-14 defeat against the Bears.
Hill logged his first two catches of the season. The 35-year-old was on pace for a career high in receptions last season with 23 through eight games before he tore his ACL in Week 13. Hill's primary usage will still likely come as a rushing quarterback in short-yardage and change-of-pace situations, which was the scenario when he scored a one-yard rushing touchdown on his lone carry during the Week 6 loss to the Patriots. He'll need to start seeing more scoring opportunities in the red zone to have any reliable fantasy value, which is unlikely considering the inconsistency of the Saints' offense. Hill will look to get back in the end zone during the Week 8 contest against the division-rival Buccaneers.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Plays nine snaps in 2025 debut
Hill logged six carries for minus-1 yard and completed his lone passing attempt for 19 yards during Sunday's 26-14 victory versus the Giants.
Hill figured back into his role as a rushing quarterback and Swiss Army knife on offense during his first game back since suffering a torn ACL in Week 13 of the 2024 season. While he played only nine offensive snaps, the 35-year-old was featured nearly every time he got on the field, including multiple looks in short-yardage and third-down situations. Hill played at least 40 percent of offensive snaps in six of the eight regular-season games that he played last year, and he averaged 7.8 touches for 58.2 yards per contest in 2024. As he continues to ramp up his playing time, he should carry some value as a boom-or-bust option as a TE2 or FLEX play in most fantasy leagues, especially non-PPR formats. It will be worth monitoring how much, or if, his playing time increases during New Orleans' Week 6 matchup versus New England.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Set for season debut Sunday
Hill (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Saints.
Hill is making his first appearance since Week 13 of the 2024 campaign, when he suffered a torn ACL in his left knee. After the Saints designated him for return from the reserve/PUP list last Monday, he operated with a cap on his reps during Week 5 prep and then was activated from the PUP list Saturday. Jeff Duncan of The Athletic reported earlier Sunday that Hill is poised to take on his typical gadget role while serving as a tight end and reserve quarterback, meaning all of passes, runs and targets will be on the docket for the 35-year-old.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Set to fill gadget role in Week 5
Hill (knee) remains listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, but he's expected to be available for the contest in his typical gadget role, Jeff Duncan of The Athletic reports.
Hill's availability won't be confirmed until the Saints release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, but the team's decision to activate him from the reserve/PUP list Saturday had already suggested that he was on track to make his 2025 debut this weekend. Duncan notes that the Saints plan to list Hill as their top backup quarterback behind starting Spencer Rattler, likely indicating that rookie second-round pick Tyler Shough will be inactive as the team's emergency third quarterback. Though the Saints may want to ease Hill into the mix with a light workload coming off the torn ACL he sustained last December, the 35-year-old projects to see some carries Sunday and potentially even some looks in the passing game when he lines up as a tight end.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Activated from PUP list, still questionable
The Saints activated Hill (knee) from the reserve/PUP list Saturday, but he remains questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Hill thus is eligible for his first game action since tearing the ACL in his left knee Week 13 of last season after being a limited participant in practice during the entirety of Week 5 prep. On Wednesday, he was spotted working mostly with the Saints quarterbacks but also with the tight ends, so he appears set to handle his usual gadget role in the offense, assuming he's made active about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Saints' Taysom Hill: In line to return Sunday
Hill (knee), who remains on the reserve/PUP list, is expected to be active Sunday against the Giants, The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
The Saints are required to activate Hill from the PUP list by 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday in order for Hill to have a chance to suit up for the first time since tearing the ACL in his left knee Week 13 of last season. Once that occurs, he's listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game, meaning his status will receive clarity about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Questionable, but still on PUP list
Hill (knee), who remains on the reserve/PUP list, is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Giants, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Hill is in the later stages of his recovery from the torn ACL that he suffered Week 13 of last season, having logged limited practices since he was designated to return from the PUP list earlier this week. The Saints are giving him a chance to play Sunday, but first they'll need to activate him by 4 p.m. ET on Saturday and then not include him on their inactive list in order for him to make his season debut. Fellow tight end Foster Moreau (knee, reserve/PUP list) is in the same boat, while Juwan Johnson (ankle) -- who is on the active roster -- also is listed as questionable.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Another limited practice
Hill (knee) was limited in practice Thursday.
Hill is working his way back from the torn ACL he suffered in his left knee Week 13 of last season, having logged back-to-back capped sessions after the Saints opened his 21-day window to practice after opening the campaign on the reserve/PUP list. At Wednesday's practice, he was spotted working mostly with the quarterbacks but also with the tight ends, according to Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football. Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not Hill has a chance to return to action Sunday against the Giants.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Limited as practice window opens
Hill (knee) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday.
After missing the first four games of the season, Hill has resumed on-field work as the Saints officially opened his 21-day window in which to practice and eventually be activated from the reserve/PUP list. His activity Wednesday included drills primarily with quarterbacks but also with tight ends, per Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football. Hill thus seems poised to operate in his previous roles around the Saints offense once he completes his recovery from the torn ACL that he suffered in his left knee Week 13 of the 2024 campaign.
