Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Continues to sit out practice
Irving (shoulder/foot) isn't participating in Thursday's practice, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles suggested earlier in the week that Irving wasn't on track to play this Monday against the Lions, and the running back's continued absence from practice due to a shoulder subluxation and a left foot sprain supports that sentiment. Assuming Irving is officially ruled out for the Week 7 contest following Saturday's practice, Rachaad White would be headed for a third consecutive turn as the Buccaneers' lead back Monday.

Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Expected to miss another week
Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles said Irving (shoulder) is "not in play" to retake the field versus Detroit in Week 7 during Monday Night Football on Oct. 20, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Bowles said both Irving and Chris Godwin (fibula) are near guarantees to miss another week, per Evan Closky of 10 Tampa Bay Sports, while rookie sensation Emeka Egbuka (hamstring) will undergo an MRI on Tuesday and looks uncertain for Week 7. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Mike Evans (hamstring) could return to practice this week, but in any case the Buccaneers offense will be down a number of key playmakers next Monday. Until Irving is able to retake the field, Rachaad White will continue to operate as Tampa Bay's top backfield option while Sean Tucker handles No. 2 duties.

Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Officially ruled out
Irving (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers.
Irving missed practice for a second straight week, never making a bid to play. Rachaad White figures to be tasked with workhorse usage again, while Sean Tucker will come off the bench and fourth-stringer Josh Williams (concussion) will join Irving on the inactive list. Reports last week suggested Irving was expected to miss two games, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be back for a Week 7 contest at Detroit on Monday Night Football (Oct. 20).

Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Sitting out Thursday's practice
Irving (shoulder/foot) wasn't spotted on the field for Thursday's practice, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Though Tampa Bay has yet to officially rule Irving out for Sunday's game against the 49ers, he has yet to resume practicing this week, and multiple reports have suggested that the running back is on track to miss a second straight contest while he contends with a subluxation of his shoulder in addition to a left foot sprain. While Irving was sidelined for last Sunday's 38-35 win over the Seahawks, Rachaad White stepped into a lead role out of the backfield and produced well for fantasy managers, scoring a pair of touchdowns while carrying 14 times for 41 yards and adding 30 yards on four receptions.

Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: No return to practice
Irving (shoulder) didn't participate in Wednesday's walkthrough.
His absence comes as no surprise after multiple reports last week suggested Irving wasn't expected to play in Weeks 5 or 6. Rachaad White filled in with an 81 percent snap share and 18 touches in a Week 5 win at Seattle, producing 71 total yards and a pair of touchdowns along the way. Early signs point to a similar role for White this Sunday against San Francisco, although the Buccaneers haven't said anything to rule Irving out just yet.

Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Likely to remain out through Week 6
Irving (foot/shoulder), who has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, is likely to remain sidelined for the Buccaneers' Week 6 contest versus the 49ers on Oct. 12, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
In the aftermath of the Buccaneers' Week 4 loss to the Eagles, Irving was diagnosed with a left foot sprain, which confined him to a walking boot and kept him from practicing Wednesday through Friday before Tampa Bay confirmed he wouldn't play this weekend. In addition, Irving was listed on the Buccaneers' official injury report with a shoulder issue, which Schefter relays is a subluxation that is considered the worse of the running back's two health concerns. The Buccaneers will likely wait and see what, if any, practice activity Irving is able to take part in during the upcoming week before deciding on his status for the matchup with the 49ers, but fantasy managers should brace for a two-game absence for the second-year tailback. While Irving is out, Rachaad White is expected to see the majority of the carries out of the Tampa Bay backfield in addition to serving as the team's top pass-catching back, though reserves Sean Tucker and Josh Williams are also expected to see expanded profiles in the ground attack.
