Falcons' Jordan Fuller: Cleared to return Week 8
Fuller (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Fuller has been cleared to return from a five-game absence due to a knee injury he sustained in Week 1 against the Buccaneers. He started in all nine regular-season games he suited up for in 2024 as a member of the Panthers, but he'll likely see most of his playing time Sunday on special teams while serving in a reserve role in the secondary behind starting safeties Jessie Bates and rookie third-rounder Xavier Watts.

Falcons' Jordan Fuller: Activated from IR
The Falcons activated Fuller (knee) from injured reserve Saturday, but he is still listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
Fuller was a full participant in practice all week, and while he's still listed as questionable, the 2020 sixth-rounder is on track to play Sunday. Fuller has missed the last six games due to a knee injury he picked up against the Buccaneers in Week 1, and his return would give the Falcons an additional body on special teams and added depth at safety behind starters Jessie Bates and Xavier Watts.

Falcons' Jordan Fuller: Could return in Week 8
Fuller (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Dolphins.
Although Fuller practiced in full all week, he still must be activated to Atlanta's active roster in order to suit up Sunday. The veteran from Ohio State has made just one appearance this season due to a knee injury, failing to record a stat across 17 total snaps (16 on special teams, one on defense). If he's able to return for the Week 8 contest, he'll likely operate as the Falcons' top reserve safety.

Falcons' Jordan Fuller: Practices in full Thursday
Fuller (knee) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Fuller has been a full participant in practice since being designated to return from injured reserve Oct. 16. He wasn't cleared to play against the 49ers in Week 7, but a full practice Friday would put him one step closer to being activated off IR and making his return Sunday against the Dolphins. Fuller's return would give the Falcons a boost on special teams and in the secondary.

Falcons' Jordan Fuller: Estimated a full participant
Fuller (knee) would have been a full practice participant Wednesday, if the team had held a practice, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.
Fuller hurt his knee in Week 1 and subsequently landed on IR. He was designated to return last Thursday and finished the week with two full practices, though he wasn't deemed ready to return to face the 49ers this past Sunday. Fuller could, however, be activated ahead of this coming Sunday's matchup versus Miami if he continues to practice without experiencing any setbacks.

Falcons' Jordan Fuller: Designated to return from IR
The Falcons designated Fuller (knee) to return from injured reserve Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Fuller has been on injured reserve since Sept. 13 due to a knee injury, but he has progressed enough in his recovery to return to practice. Per Matt Urben of USA Today, Fuller was a full participant in Thursday's session, though he's far from a guarantee to be activated off IR ahead of Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Falcons' Jordan Fuller: Out for Sunday
Fuller (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the 49ers, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.
The Ohio State product was designated to return from injured reserve Thursday and practiced in full, but it now appears he's not ready for in-game action just yet. Once fully healthy, Fuller is expected to operate as one of Atlanta's top reserve safeties while contributing on special teams.

Falcons' Jordan Fuller: Shifts to IR
Fuller (knee) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.
The 27-year-old safety had already been ruled out for the Falcons' Week 2 matchup against the Vikings due to a knee injury, but the issue now appears serious enough to land him on IR. Fuller played 17 total snaps (one defensive and 16 on special teams) in the Week 1 loss to the Buccaneers, failing to record a stat. With Fuller now sidelined, Xavier Watts and Jessie Bates are currently the only safeties on the Falcons' active roster without injury designations.

Falcons' Jordan Fuller: Returning to Atlanta
The Falcons signed Fuller to a contract Thursday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.
Fuller was included in the Falcons' roster cuts Tuesday, but the veteran free agent will end up returning to Atlanta and is expected to serve in a rotational role at safety behind starters Jessie Bates and 2025 third-rounder Xavier Watts. Fuller was limited to nine regular-season games with the Panthers in 2024 due to multiple injuries and finished the campaign with 54 tackles (28 solo), one pass defense and one forced fumble.

Jordan Fuller: Jettisoned by Atlanta
The Falcons released Fuller on Tuesday, Terrin Waack, Will McFadden and Tori McElhaney of the team's official site report.
Fuller signed a one-year contract with the Falcons in March after appearing in nine regular-season games for the Panthers in an injury-riddled 2024 campaign. The 2020 sixth-rounder logged five tackles (four solo) across three preseason games, but he ultimately lost out to DeMarcco Hellams and Henry Black for a depth safety spot on the Falcons' 53-man roster. Fuller has started in 55 regular-season games across five seasons, so he should receive interest from teams looking to add veteran depth in the secondary.

Falcons' Jordan Fuller: Joins Atlanta
Fuller agreed to a one-year contract with the Falcons on Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The 27-year-old safety will remain in the NFC South after spending his 2024 campaign with the Panthers. Fuller struggled with injuries last season, appearing in just nine games due to a hamstring injury. However, he played 1,007 defensive snaps across 17 games with the Rams in 2023, logging 94 total tackles, three interceptions and three forced fumbles. Fuller is now expected to start alongside Jessie Bates in the Atlanta secondary.
