Falcons' Divine Deablo: Taken off IR, cleared for Week 12
The Falcons activated Deablo (forearm) off IR on Saturday and removed his injury designation for Sunday's tilt against New Orleans, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.
Deablo landed on injured reserve Oct. 25 due to a fractured forearm. He missed the minimum four games and was able to return to full practice participation Thursday and Friday this week. Though Deablo was initially deemed questionable for Sunday's contest, that designation was removed upon his activation. He should thus return to a starting role at linebacker against New Orleans.

Deablo (forearm) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Deablo is still on IR but is in the final stages of recovery from the broken forearm he suffered in Week 7 against San Francisco. Falcons coach Raheem Morris sounded optimistic about Deablo being activated in time to return to action this Sunday against the Saints, saying, "I don't want to act like I'm going to activate him and not see him. I hope we're going to see him unless something otherwise says something." Deablo has been wearing a cast on his arm during practice, and he could return to game action while continuing to do so.

Deablo returned to action Wednesday for the first time since fracturing his left forearm in Week 7 at San Francisco, though he was held out of some drills. Head coach Raheem Morris told reporters that Deablo (forearm) will be designated to return from the injured reserve list Wednesday, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.
The 27-year-old has missed Atlanta's last four games due to a forearm injury, but Morris told reporters Wednesday that he's "hopeful" Deablo can return for the Week 12 divisional matchup against the Saints. He must still be added to the Falcons' active roster in order to suit up Sunday. Deablo would be a huge addition to the Falcons' defense, having recorded 24 total tackles, including 0.5 sacks, and four passes defensed in six games prior to injury.

Deablo was placed on injured reserve in late October after fracturing his forearm during the Falcons' Week 7 loss to the 49ers. Sunday's game against the Panthers will mark his fourth game missed due to his injury, which is the minimum number of games a player has to spend while on injured reserve. Deablo was an every-down linebacker when active, so his return would likely revert JD Bertrand to a rotational role on defense.

Deablo is coming off of his least productive season as a tackler since his rookie year back in 2021, tallying 63 tackles (35 solo) over 14 games with the Raiders in 2024.
