Top Olamide Zaccheaus News

  • Bears' Olamide Zaccheaus: Leads team in receptions

Zaccheaus caught five of six targets for 41 yards in the Bears' 25-24 win over the Raiders on Sunday.

Zaccheaus recorded his second game over 40 yards this season. However, the receiver also has games with 12 and 24 yards. The veteran will remain a floor PPR option as long as Rome Odunze and DJ Moore stay healthy.

  • Bears' Olamide Zaccheaus: Posts 36 scrimmage yards in win

Zaccheaus caught three of four targets for 24 yards and added 12 rushing yards on his only carry in the Bears' 31-14 win over the Cowboys on Sunday.

In Week 1, Zaccheaus posted 42 receiving yards, but he has just 36 yards over the last two games. Still, the veteran has at least four targets in each contest, and as long as he retains the No. 3 receiver role, he could continue to post limited yardage most weeks.

  • Bears' Olamide Zaccheaus: Limited production in loss

Zaccheaus caught two passes for 12 yards along with a nine-yard rush in the Bears' 52-21 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

After Zaccheaus was second on the Bears with seven targets in Week 1, he followed that up with five targets against the Lions. The veteran has a clear hold on the No. 3 receiver role, and he should continue to see regular targets.

  • Bears' Olamide Zaccheaus: Solid in Chicago debut

Zaccheaus caught four of seven targets for 42 yards in Monday's 27-24 loss to the Vikings.

Zaccheaus finished second on the team in both receiving yards and targets, trailing DJ Moore and Rome Odunze, respectively. Rookie second-round pick Luther Burden could eventually take on a larger role, but at least early in the season, Zaccheaus has the clear edge for the No. 3 wide receiver role in Chicago, as Burden had just one catch for minus-3 yards Monday. Zaccheaus will look to build on this promising Bears debut Week 2 against the Lions.
