Chargers' Da'Shawn Hand: Finds new team
Hand signed a one-year contract with the Chargers on Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Hand is coming off a career year, having suited up for all 17 regular-season games with the Dolphins in 2024. He tallied 31 tackles (20 solo), including 1.0 sacks, one pass defense, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in that span. Now, he'll get a chance to compete for additional first-team reps along a Los Angeles defensive line that parted ways with Joey Bosa to begin the offseason.

Dolphins' Da'Shawn Hand: Career-high 31 tackles in 2024
Hand played in all 17 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 31 tackles (20 solo), including 1.0 sacks, one pass defense, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Hand spent most of the 2024 season in a rotational role at defensive end behind starters Calais Campbell and Zach Sieler. Hand registered career highs in defensive snaps (532) and total tackles (31) and was able to play in every single regular-season game. The 2018 fourth-round pick will be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, and he could look to join an organization that can offer him a bigger role with the first-team defense.

Hand appeared in only one game last season for the Titans after suffering a season-ending quadriceps injury in the team's first contest. Now healthy, he'll work to earn a depth role on Miami's defensive line.

Titans' Da'Shawn Hand: Moves to IR
Hand (quadriceps) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Hand's injury being of the season-ending variety was reported earlier Tuesday, making his move to IR a formality. The 26-year-old will need surgery to repair the torn quadriceps he suffered on just his second play of the season. Hand will now turn his focus to being ready in 2023, while Kevin Strong and a likely practice squad call up, or new signee, will be looking at extra opportunities this season.

Titans' Da'Shawn Hand: Done for the season
Hand (quadriceps) is scheduled to undergo season-ending surgery due to an injury sustained Week 1, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Hand suffered a season-ending torn quadriceps during Sunday's season-opening loss to the Eagles. The depth defensive end spent much of the 2021 season dealing with a groin injury, and he will now have to focus on getting fully healthy for 2023.

Hand signed a contract with the Titans on Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Hand played six defensive snaps for Tennessee in the team's Week 18 win over the Texans after he was waived with an injury settlement by the Lions on Nov. 30. The veteran will look to carve out a place for himself along the interior of the Titans defensive line heading into the 2022 season.

Hand reached an injury settlement with the Lions on Nov. 30 and became a free agent. His workout with the Colts indicates he has recovered from the groin injury that landed him on the IR.

The Lions have waived Hand (groin) off injured reserve with an injury settlement, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Hand was placed on injured reserve Nov. 23 after suffering a groin injury during the team's Week 11 loss to the Browns. With Hand off the team, Nick Williams will likely be asked to take on a larger role on the defensive line. Hand will be free to join another team when his injury is cleared.
