Muhammad saw action in 10 games for the Lions between the regular season and playoffs in 2024, recording 11 total tackles and three sacks. Cowboys' Al-Quadin Muhammad: Will miss first game of season
Muhammad will be placed on the reserve-suspended list to begin the season as he finishes serving a six-game suspension handed down by the NFL last December, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
The defensive end didn't actually suit up in any games last season, spending most of the year on the Colts' practice squad, but the suspension covered the last five games of their regular-season schedule and Indianapolis didn't advance to the playoffs. Muhammad should be able to provide some depth along the defensive front for Dallas beginning in Week 2, assuming he's still on the roster.
