Buccaneers' Haason Reddick: Dealing with ankle sprain
Head coach Todd Bowles told reporters Monday that Reddick is dealing with an ankle sprain as well as some knee soreness, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
The 31-year-old underwent an MRI earlier in the week on his ankle, which appears to be the main issue affecting him. Additionally, Bowles told reporters that Reddick's knee "will be OK" despite some lingering soreness. The Buccaneers have a Week 9 bye, which should allow Reddick to get some much-needed rest. His next opportunity to return to action will come in Week 10 when the Bucs face the Patriots.

Buccaneers' Haason Reddick: Officially out for Week 8
Reddick (ankle/knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup versus New Orleans, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Reddick hurt his ankle and knee this past Monday against Detroit, and head coach Todd Bowles said a few days later that the linebacker is going to "miss some time." As such, it's so surprise that Reddick has been ruled out for Week 8, and he might not be ready to return even after the team's Week 9 bye. Anthony Nelson and Chris Braswell could log more defensive snaps at linebacker while Reddick is sidelined.

Buccaneers' Haason Reddick: Sidelined with knee issue
Head coach Todd Bowles told reporters Wednesday that Reddick (knee/ankle) will "miss some time," Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
The veteran edge rusher is still awaiting the MRI results showing the severity of his knee and ankle injuries, but it appears he'll likely miss time regardless. Reddick appeared in all seven of the Buccaneers' games prior to these injuries, recording 16 total tackles, including 1.5 sacks, and one pass defended. If he's sidelined for the Week 8 matchup against the Saints as expected, Anthony Nelson will likely to get more snaps with Tampa Bay's first-team defense.

Buccaneers' Haason Reddick: Undergoing MRI
Head coach Todd Bowles said Tuesday that Reddick will undergo an MRI on his knee and ankle to determine the severity of the injuries, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Reddick sustained the injuries in the fourth quarter of Monday's 24-9 loss to the Lions. The MRI results are expected Wednesday, which will provide clarity on his recovery timeline. Anthony Nelson and Chris Braswell would be the top candidates to move into a starting role at outside linebacker opposite Yaya Diaby if Reddick is sidelined.

Buccaneers' Haason Reddick: Questionable to return Monday
Reddick (knee/ankle) is questionable to return to Monday night's contest against the Lions, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Reddick was landed on by Lions offensive tackle Penei Sewell in the fourth quarter, potentially suffering both knee and ankle injuries as a result. Considering the linebacker exited so late in the game, it seems unlikely Reddick will be able to return. In his absence, Anthony Nelson is a top candidate to see an increased workload with Tampa Bay's defense.

Buccaneers' Haason Reddick: Clear of foot injury
Reddick (foot) was a full participant in Friday's practice, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Reddick was limited due to a foot issue Thursday, but he was able to return to full participation one day later. That likely means that he's at no risk of missing Monday's Week 2 tilt against the Texans. Reddick recorded three tackles, including 1.0 sacks, Week 1 against Atlanta.

Reddick will have two more chances to practice in full and avoid an injury tag heading into the Bucs' Week 2 road game against the Texans on Monday.

Buccaneers' Haason Reddick: Picks up sack in victory
Reddick recorded three tackles (one solo), including 1.0 sacks, in the Bucs' win over the Falcons on Sunday.
After a lost season with the Jets in 2024 that saw him extend his summer holdout into the regular season, Reddick signed a one-year, $14-million deal with Tampa Bay in the offseason. He started on the edge opposite Yaya Diaby and played 79 percent of the Bucs' defensive snaps. On a third-and-four in the third quarter, Reddick sacked Michael Penix in the red zone to hold the Falcons to a field goal. Following a normal offseason, Reddick hopes to return to his old form after recording just 1.0 sacks across 10 regular-season games with the Jets last season.
