Saints' Jonathan Bullard: Signs with New Orleans
Bullard agreed to a deal with the Saints on Saturday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
The defensive end originally visited the team in June and previously played for Saints defensive coordinator Brandon Staley in Chicago, per Garafolo. With the Vikings last year, Bullard started all 17 regular-season games for the first time in his career, recording 41 tackles (21 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and three pass breakups. The veteran should have a chance to compete for a role in New Orleans as well.

Vikings' Jonathan Bullard: Role increases in 2023
Bullard logged 44 total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, while also forcing one fumble in 17 games during the 2023 regular season.
The eighth-year pro defensive end started 14 of the Vikings' 17 games, doubling his previous high for most starts in a season. Thanks to the increased opportunities, Bullard set a new career high in tackles but recorded only nine QB pressures in 325 pass rush snaps, according to Pro Football Focus. The 30-year-old is an unrestricted free agent this offseason and will likely be a rotational defensive lineman wherever he lands in 2024.

Vikings' Jonathan Bullard: Could play Week 16
Bullard (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Lions.
The 30-year-old defensive end is dealing with an ankle issue that held him to limited practice sessions throughout the week, but he still has a shot at suiting up Sunday. Bullard has yet to miss a game this season, but if he misses Week 16's affair, Sheldon Day (ankle) could see increased work on the Vikings' defensive line.
