Jeff Overbaugh: Waived by Atlanta
Overbaugh was waived by the Falcons on Monday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.
Overbaugh's release is likely an indication that Josh Harris (hip) is progressing well in his recovery. If Overbaugh clears waivers, expect him to be added to Atlanta's practice squad and continue to serve as a reserve long snapper.

Falcons' Jeff Overbaugh: Promoted to active roster
Overbaugh was promoted to Atlanta's active roster Thursday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
The move means that Overbaugh will likely start in place of Josh Harris (hip) as the team's long snapper in tonight's season opener against the Eagles. While the Falcon's skill position players remain largely unaffected by the move, both placekicker Matt Bryant and punter Matt Bosher could struggle to adjust to Overbaugh's snapping tendencies with minimal time to prepare.

Vikings' Jeff Overbaugh: Will be released by Vikings
Overbaugh will be released by the Vikings, Chris Tomasson of the Twin Cities Pioneer Press reports.
Overbaugh was picked up late in the 2017 season after starting long snapper Kevin McDermott was placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. With McDermott's recovery coming along well, Overbaugh will test free agency.

Vikings' Jeff Overbaugh: Signs with Minnesota
The Vikings signed Overbaugh to a contract Tuesday.
Overbaugh will serve as the Vikings' long snapper Week 17 against the Bears after incumbent Kevin McDermott injured his shoulder in the Week 16 win over the Packers. McDermott hasn't been placed on injured reserve, so Overbaugh could be dropped from the 53-man roster once the latter is healthy again.

Jeff Overbaugh: Waived by Broncos

The 23-year-old's stint with the Broncos has come to a close, with the center being let go Thursday to help free up roster space for the team's undrafted free agent signings.
