Gunter is in uniform and warming up for Friday's preseason matchup with Miami, Joe Person of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Gunter suffered a concussion last week and just recently cleared the league-mandated protocol. The team announced earlier that the cornerback would be available, but it wasn't clear at the time if he would play. Expect him to see action with the second- or third-team defense.

Gunter entered the offseason as a restricted free agent for the Panthers, but the team opted not to offer him a tender. The 25-year-old played four games with Carolina and one with Green Bay in 2017, failing to record a tackle. Gunter was able to record one solo tackle in the wild-card game against New Orleans, but he was blanked in the regular season. Packers' Ladarius Gunter: Records 12 passes defensed in 2016
Gunter finished the 2016 season with 54 tackles, two forced fumbles, and a team-high 12 passes defensed in 16 games played.
After playing just eight defensive snaps as an undrafted rookie in 2015, Gunter was in on 83.4 percent of Green Bay's defensive snaps in 2016. The Packers' top-3 cornerbacks entering the season -- Sam Shields (concussion), Damarious Randall, and Quinten Rollins -- all missed time due to injury, which allowed Gunter to carve out a role as the team's top cover corner. Gunter struggled when matched up with some of the better receivers in the NFL, but he impressed at times in the large role he was thrust into. He'll be looking to build off what was a breakout campaign in 2017.

Gunter (elbow) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Gunter injured his elbow Saturday versus the Vikings and wasn't able to return to the game. However, his total participation in Wednesday's practice suggests the ailment isn't serious and, barring a setback, Gunter should be fine to play in Sunday's season finale versus the Lions.
